ArmInfo.The OSCE Chair-in-Office, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade  of Malta, Ian Borg, will visit Armenia on 13 May.

ArmInfo. On 10-11 May 2024 negotiations were held between Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign  Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

ArmInfo.One of the citizens who was brought in as a result of the use of brute and disproportionate force by the red berets received bodily injuries. Human rights activist, ex- Ombudsman of Artsakh Ruben Melikyan wrote on his Facebook account. He said that medical assistance is currently being provided to the citizen. 

ArmInfo. Law enforcement officers detained participants in the disobedience actions. According  to various sources, about 50 citizens have already been brought into custody. Law enforcement officials use disproportionate force to detain them. This is evidenced by video footage that has spread online.

ArmInfo.Protests of disobedience by supporters of the Tavush in the name of the  Motherland movement are taking place in different parts of Yerevan.

ArmInfo.The obvious success of the "Sacred Struggle" movement "Tavush in the name of the Motherland"  is that Bagrat Galstanyan has now become a charismatic spiritual and public figure not only of Tavush, but of the whole of Armenia, who can gather and manage an area filled with tens of thousands of people, and whose word and these days they form the most important items on the agenda of Armenian society, Orientalist Vardan Voskanyan wrote on his Facebook account.

ArmInfo.The head of the national anti-government movement, Archbishop of the Armenian Apostolic Church Bagrat Sprazan, called on the participants of today's rally on Republic Square to hold actions of disobedience tomorrow throughout the country, in Yerevan and 10 regions of the country.

ArmInfo. Another nationwide anti-government rally is taking place on Republic Square in Yerevan, the main slogan of which is the resignation of the authorities for the sake of preserving the national identity and dignity of the nation.

ArmInfo. It is too early to talk about the details of the assistance that will be provided to Armenia  through the European Peace Facility (EPF). Head of the EU delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, stated on May 10 in Yerevan at the opening of the Europe Day celebrations.

ArmInfo.Europe Day celebrations has started in Yerevan. This year, celebrations  will take place from  May 10 to June 7 in Yerevan and regions of the country. Head of the EU delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, stated on May 10 in Yerevan at the opening of the Europe Day celebrations.

ArmInfo.The process of implementing the impeachment procedure for the Prime Minister of Armenia is at the  discussion stage. MP from the "Hayastan" opposition faction, Gegham Manukan, reported this to RFE/RL's Armenian Service , noting that we are talking about both securing the signatures of 36 MPs necessary to  initiate the process, and the candidate for the post of new prime minister.

ArmInfo. The Investigative Committee of Armenia detained two participants in the protest carried out by  the Tavush for the Motherland initiative and its supporters in Yerevan, who were carrying folding knives.
