ArmInfo.The visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to the region is official and will be dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of  diplomatic relations between Yerevan and Moscow. On November 17,  Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated this at a joint  news conference with Brazilian Foreign Minister Aloisio Nunes  Ferreira.

ArmInfo.The European Parliament calls on the leadership of the European Union to begin negotiations with Armenia on simplifying the visa regime. This is stated in the resolution of the European Parliament, adopted on the eve of the plenary session.

ArmInfo. Obviously, there is some activity on the part of the co- chairs, in connection with the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Armenian Deputy Foreign  Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan stated this in a conversation with  journalists on November 16 after a government meeting.

ArmInfo. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Yerevan November 20-21. This was announced on November 16 during a weekly briefing by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.

ArmInfo. Declaring his agreement with the irreplaceability of Serzh Sargsyan in matters of security, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan, nevertheless, leaves Moscow with the possibility of drawing concessions from Sargsyan in the Moscow negotiations.

ArmInfo.The prospect of signing the Armenia-EU comprehensive and expanded partnership agreement is of concern to the Chairman of the Union of Domestic  Producers of Armenia Vazgen Safaryan. "While Turkey is moving towards  Russia, Armenia is looking towards the EU, a similar situation was  observed in 1918-1920, as a result of which the Armenians lost  Nakhijevan and the Kars region," he told journalists on November 13.

ArmInfo. Russia is interested in concluding a new Armenia-EU framework agreement. The head of the Center for Innovative and Institutional Research at the YSU, Atom  Margaryan, stated at a meeting with journalists on November 13.

ArmInfo.The agreement on an expanded and comprehensive partnership is the version of the Association Agreement that does not contradict Armenia's obligations within the framework of the EAEU. On November 11, Edmond Marukyan, deputy of the Elk faction, told journalists.

ArmInfo.The solemn ceremony of the meeting of Moldavian President Igor Dodon, who arrived in Yerevan for a three-day official visit, was held at the presidential  residence in Armenia.

ArmInfo. The European vector is likely to remain important, but an additional direction of the main Russian vector of Armenia, such an opinion was expressed by the  Russian analyst Sergey Markedonov.

ArmInfo. The 30th meeting of the  Interparliamentary Commission (IPC) on cooperation between the  National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the Federal Assembly  of the Russian Federation was held at the National Assembly of  Armenia on November 2. The meeting was chaired by Artashes Geghamyan  and Nikolai Ryzhkov.

ArmInfo. On November 2, NA  Speaker Ara Babloyan received a delegation headed by Nikolai Ryzhkov,  co-chairman of the Interparliamentary Commission on Cooperation  between the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia and the  Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Welcoming the  participants of the 30th IPC meeting, Baloyan noted that thanks to  this event the Armenian-Russian allied relations entered a new phase.  The head of the parliament stated that a live dialogue at all levels  is the guarantee of the consistent development of bilateral  relations.  According to A.Babloyan, Armenia and Russia, being  members of the EAEU, have entered a qualitatively new stage of trade  and economic cooperation. The NA Speaker addressed to the  Armenian-Russian parliamentary cooperation, considering it as an  important element of cooperation. In this context, the head of  parliament stressed the importance of the IPC, which is a demanded  platform for an open and constructive dialogue for the legislative  and executive authorities, as well as business circles of the two  countries. The NA Speaker also highlighted cooperation and mutual  assistance at international venues. N.  Ryzhkov, thanking for the  reception, appreciated almost twenty-year activity of the IPC.  Stressing the importance of meetings held twice a year in Armenia and  Russia, he highly appreciated the constructive reports of Armenian  and Russian colleagues voiced at the 30th meeting. At the end of the  meeting, the interlocutors appealed to the progress noted in the  framework of the EAEU and the opportunities for expanding  cooperation

ArmInfo. On November 2, NA  President Ara Babloyan received the Director General of Democracy of  the Council of Europe Snezana Samardzic-Markovic.

ArmInfo. Armenia's  obligations under the framework agreement with the EU can in no way  contradict the commitments previously assumed by Yerevan in other  integration associations. Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stated  this in an interview with bfm.ru.

ArmInfo. "We will make a difference in this world and we will be the best country", Armenian Prime Minister came out with such a statement today at a press conference.

ArmInfo. After agreeing on the  proposal made by Yerevan in the autumn of 2013 to sign an association  agreement without an economic component, the former European  Commission did not go on, in fact the European partners agreed with  Armenia's "i-and-i" policy by giving up "or-or." Mihran Hakobyan, a  deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia from the ruling Republican  Party of Armenia, expressed such opinion to ArmInfo.

ArmInfo. The opposition of the  EU and the EAEU to Armenia is harmful. I can say that the agreement  that is being prepared for signing with the EU is not the result of  opposing, but combining these two integration projects. Armen  Ashotyan, chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations,  expressed this opinion during a round table organized by the Armenian  Institute of International Affairs and Security.  "We do not stand at  the crossroads between West and East, we stand on the bridge  connecting the West and the East." In this light, I urge all not to  exaggerate the implications of the agreement that is being signed  with Europe.  "For Armenia this is not a goldfish capable of solving  all our problems, for further, fruitful work," he said.

ArmInfo. The signing of the Agreement with the EU will substantially allocate Armenia among the countries of the EAEC, the CSTO and the CIS. Edmond Marukyan, a deputy from the opposition bloc "Elk" expressed a similar opinion during a round table organized by the Armenian Institute of International Affairs and Security.

ArmInfo. If Armenia refuses to sign an agreement on a comprehensive and expanded partnership with the European Union, no one will punish us. Hovhannes Igityan, an international expert, ex-chairman of the parliamentary commission on foreign relations, expressed such an opinion during a round table organized by the Armenian Institute of International Affairs and Security.
