Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ercan Ozoral told APA, commenting on the visit of representatives of the Turkish intelligentsia to Nagorno-Karabakh. "We just learned that some Turkish citizens went to Nagorno-Karabakh. Such illegal visits, of course, harm the settlement process. Turkey strongly condemns actions aimed at torpedoing the settlement process. The persons making this visit do not have the authority to represent Turkey's official position. They went there for personal reasons. Our official position is known to everyone," the ambassador said. Ozoral also commented on the initiation of criminal cases in Azerbaijan against Turkish citizens who made a visit to Nagorno-Karabakh. He said that this is a legal process, the requirements of which will be fulfilled: "We respect the legal system."
