ArmInfo.  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a meeting with representatives of the executive branch on Tuesday, June 9.  According to the government's press service, the Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the  officials present for ensuring the seamless operation of the  executive branch during his absence. Pashinyan also thanked the  various state and local government bodies involved in organizing the  recent parliamentary elections, commending their efforts in ensuring  a successful and well-organized electoral process.

ArmInfo.  There are numerous issues in our procedures and approaches regarding water that  we must address. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this  statement during a press-briefing on April 30, when commenting  on  the recent water poisoning incident in Byureghavan.

ArmInfo. Discussions are underway with the company "Veolia Jur" regarding changing the water supply schedule for the period from May 1 to September 15. This was announced by Aramazd Kalantaryan, Chairman of the RA Water Committee, at the plenary session of the National Assembly of the Republic of  Armenia on March 3.

ArmInfo. There will be no changes to the water supply schedule as a result of government intervention. RA Minister of Territorial Administration and  Infrastructure David Khudatyan wrote this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Veolia Djur, the operator of Armenia's water supply system, has clarified  the  reasons for the transition to a 17-hour water supply schedule  in Yerevan and all regions of Armenia from May 1 to September 16 of this year. 

ArmInfo.  On November 26, at its meeting, the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) of Armenia set tariffs for drinking water supply, sanitation, and wastewater treatment services for 2026. The single system operator submitted the corresponding application to the Regulator on August 8, 2025.

ArmInfo. The revocation of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) company's license, owned by Russian businessman Samvel Karapetyan, who was previously arrested in Yerevan, may have a negative impact on Armenia's investment climate and its international ratings in both the short and long term. Arpine Hovhannisyan, lawyer and former Minister of Justice of Armenia, stated this in her Facebook post.

ArmInfo.  Reconstruction of water supply systems is underway in a number of settlements in the Kotayk, Aragatsotn and Armavir regions. This was reported to ArmInfo  by the press service of the Water Committee of Armenia.

ArmInfo. The appointment of Romanos Petrosyan as the interim manager of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) CJSC is solely based on my authority and is not influenced by any political instructions, as stated by Chairman of  the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) Mesrop Mesropyan  during an interview with journalists on July 24.

Ambassador of France to Armenia Olivier Decottignies visited the office of the Veolia Jur  company, where he discussed the problems of the industry.  "Veolia  Jur is a leading French investor and water supplier in Armenia.  Together with the director, Ms.  Marianna Shahinyan, we exchanged  views on the problems of the industry and ways to solve them together  with the Armenian authorities," the diplomat wrote.

ArmInfo. The conflict between "Electric Networks of Armenia" CJSC (ENA) and "Veolia Jur" CJSC is gaining momentum due to interruptions in the supply of electricity  and water in the city.

ArmInfo. Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC (ENA) caught Veolia Jur CJSC in disseminating false information. So, according to the ENA, today "Veolia Jur" issued a message stating  that due to fluctuations in electrical voltage there were  interruptions in the operation of the pumping stations of the water  supply system.

ArmInfo. In 2021, the water  tariff for consumers in Armenia will remain the same, amounting to  180 drams per cubic meter. This decision was made at a meeting of the  Public Services Regulatory Commission.

ArmInfo. Over the past two years, Armenia has managed to minimize water releases from Lake Sevan.  Deputy Minister of the Environment Irina Kaplanyan stated  this on November 6 at a hearing in parliamentary commissions on the  draft state budget of the country in 2021.

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Environment of Armenia is carrying out a number of measures to restore the ecological situation around Lake Sevan. Voskeat  Grigoryan, Acting Head of the Department of Biodiversity Policy and  Specially Protected Natural Areas of the Ministry of Environment,  stated this at a press conference in Yerevan on July 22.
