ArmInfo.On December 11, 2025, the RA Prosecutor General, Anna Vardapetyan, announced the beginning of the dismantling of illegally constructed buildings and structures on land plots located in the coastal areas of Lake Sevan. The Prosecutor's Office also announced that the demolition of illegal structures will continue in 2026.

ArmInfo.The  Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia has filed a claim regarding the Harsnakar hotel complex, which is linked to the former head of the Armenian Football Federation, Ruben Hayrapetyan, located on the shores of Lake Sevan. The court has accepted the claim for consideration. "An interim measure has been applied to the real estate," the press service of the supervisory agency reported.

ArmInfo. Illegal structures adjacent to the mansion of former RA Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan have been demolished on Lake Sevan in Armenia. This was announced in a statement by the RA Prosecutor General's Office.

ArmInfo.  The Harsnakar restaurant and hotel complex, associated with the former head of the Armenian Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan, on the shore of Lake  Sevan, the mansion owned by the former head of the RA Police,  Vladimir Gasparyan, and the real estate belonging to former  presidential aide and former Secretary General of the Constitutional  Court Norayr Panosyan, will be transferred to the state.

ArmInfo.The Environmental accumulationand Mineral Resources Inspectorate initiated administrative proceedings based on a report received on September 18 regarding a garbage on the territory of the Sevan National Park  State Non-Commercial Organization (SNCO). This was reported by the  Inspectorate's press service.

ArmInfo. The Investigative Committee of Armenia has completed the preliminary investigation into the case of former Defense Minister, now head of the opposition "Armenia" faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan and former Minister of Ecology, now MP Artsvik  Minasyan and 4 other persons.

ArmInfo. The Armenian authorities, instead of confronting external threats, have concentrated their main resources on domestic  political issues in order to ensure their comfort and prolong their existence. This was stated by Tigran  Abrahamyan, a member of parliament from the opposition faction "I  have the honor", at an extraordinary session of the National Assembly  on July 7, where a motion to strip three opposition MPs of their  immunity was being considered.

ArmInfo.  During an extraordinary session of the parliament, where the issue of the NA's consent to the criminal prosecution of Seyran Ohanyan and Artsvik Minasyan is being discussed, Taguhi Tovmasyan brought up the topic of  mansions owned by persons affiliated with the ruling party.  Recall that Seyran Ohanyan is facing charges related to the illegal privatization of  land in Sevan National Park, and the construction of a mansion on it,  and Artsvik Minasyan is being accused of assisting in this matter.

ArmInfo.  The head of the opposition faction "Armenia" of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, former Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan responded to the ongoing discussions in the National Assembly on the petition submitted by the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan for criminal prosecution against  him.

ArmInfo.  At the extraordinary session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on July 4, the petition of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia on the consent of the country's parliament to the criminal prosecution of the leader of the opposition faction "Armenia" Seyran  Ohanyan and the secretary of the same faction Artsvik Minasyan is  being discussed.

ArmInfo.  Artsvik Minasyan, a  member of the National Assembly of Armenia from the opposition faction "Armenia", raised the issue of the criminal case brought  against him at a plenary session of the parliament.

ArmInfo. The RA Ministry of  Environment presented both free and paid services on the public  beaches within the territory of the Sevan National Park.   Specifically, as stated in the message, visitors to the national park  have free access to the beach area.  

ArmInfo. The Ministry of Environment has allocated  208.2 million drams for the implementation of a project to clean up  the flooded shoreline of Lake Sevan. This was stated today by Acting  Minister of Environment Romanos Petrosyan during a meeting dedicated  to the opening of the tourist season on the lake.

ArmInfo.The Sevan Startup Tent Sammit 2021 will not take place this year.  According to the official announcement of the organizers, the event is canceled due to the ban  of the Ministry of Nature Protection on the use of the traditional  site.

ArmInfo.Yesterday the RA Minister of Nature Protection Romanos Petrosyan met with and acting Director of SNCO "Sevan National Park" Ara Khloyan.

ArmInfo.Now, the former Minister of the Environment has presented the results of his two-year work.  In his statement, Grigoryan noted that all the employees of the  ministry, despite recent criticism and often unfair treatment, did  everything possible to solve the problems inherited for decades.
