ArmInfo. According to analyst Tigran Dumikyan, if tensions in Armenian-Russian relations  persist or deepen, the possibility of tightening customs controls,  introducing additional trade restrictions, or revising energy pricing  policies cannot be theoretically ruled out. Referring to the recent  phone conversation between the leaders of Armenia and Russia, the  analyst stated that developments in Armenian-Russian relations in  recent weeks indicate the emergence of a qualitatively new situation  in bilateral relations.

The National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, under the baton of Maestro Eduard Topchjan and featuring popular Armenian performers, presented the "Yerevan Gala" concert program.      "We are on Yerevan's most beautiful rooftop. I believe that when Alexander Tamanyan designed the building, he envisioned that over time this space would be fully utilized," stated Norayr Nazaryan, Director of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia and the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.      Thus, a new chapter in the history of the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall has been officially opened. On this rooftop, the summer promises to be cool and filled with outstanding music. More concerts and cultural events are expected in August, with IDBank once again serving as the general partner.

Russia is insisting on a referendum on Armenia's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) or the European Union (EU) in order to ascertain the foreign policy choice made by the country. Political analyst and  observer Beniamin Matevosyan expressed this opinion on his Telegram  channel, noting that the necessity of such a move is not entirely  clear to everyone.

ArmInfo.  The recent phone call between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian  President Vladimir Putin did not signal a resolution to the ongoing  crisis in Armenian-Russian relations, but rather confirmed that the  strategic differences between the parties continue to deepen. ArmInfo.  A complaint has been filed with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) regarding the case of former Nagorno-Karabakh state minister and philanthropist Ruben  Vardanyan, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison in Azerbaijan.  This was stated in a statement by Siranush Sahakyan, attorney and  president of the Center for International and Comparative Law, who  represents Armenian prisoners at the ECHR. Her statement was  published on Vardanyan's official social media pages. Saakyan stated  that the complaint regarding the case of Ruben Vardanyan, a citizen  of the Republic of Armenia currently held in the Umbaki Penitentiary  Complex in Azerbaijan, was filed with the ECHR on July 19, 2026.

ArmInfo.  Following Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev's visit to Germany, relations between Baku and  Berlin are moving beyond the traditional model, which saw Azerbaijan  primarily as an energy supplier. This is the opinion of Sergei  Markedonov, PhD in history, leading researcher at the Center for  Euro-Atlantic Security at the Institute of International Studies at  MGIMO University, and editor-in-chief of the journal "International  Analytics."

ArmInfo. The "3+3" regional platform is a vital mechanism for regional cooperation, and Azerbaijan is ready to host its next meeting, as stated by  Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference, following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow  on July 17.
