ArmInfo.  Who is sacrificing the authority of the National Security Service of Armenia and why? This question is posed by political scientist Hakob Badalyan, commenting on footage of the arrest of Argam Abrahamyan, son of  former RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.

ArmInfo.  The Investigative Committee (IC) of Armenia has announced the solving of a contract killing organized on the orders of the former head of the Artashat community and a former member of the Armenian parliament.

ArmInfo. Armenia's Anti-Corruption Court has officially accepted a series of high-profile lawsuits filed by the General Prosecutor's Office, targeting the alleged "illicit assets" of Hovik Abrahamyan's brother  and two sons-in-law, former Prime Minister and former Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic.  The General Prosecutor's Department for the Recovery of Illicit Property is seeking to return millions in cash, real estate, and corporate shares to the state.

ArmInfo.During 2025, the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia recovered 30 billion, 341 million, 581 thousand drams in damages for crimes against economic activity.  Deputy Prosecutor General Aram Aramyan announced this at an extended meeting of the Office's Council, presenting a report on  the work of prosecutors over the past year.

ArmInfo. Anna Abrahamyan, the daughter of former Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, has been  summoned to the Prosecutor General's Office in connection with a case involving illegally acquired property. This was reported in a statement posted on the legal information website "Azdarar."

ArmInfo. The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia reports that during the preliminary investigation it was established that Hovik Abrahamyan, holding the positions of Minister of Territorial Administration of the Republic  of Armenia, Chief of Staff of the President and Prime Minister of the  Republic of Armenia, using his position and influence on state bodies  and local government bodies, ordered the organization of illegal  auctions. As a result, Abrahamyan acquired land plots with a total  area of about 75,000 square meters in the Dilijan community of Tavush  region, arable land and pastures with a total area of 120 hectares in  the Narek community of Ararat region and land plots with a total area  of 48.4092 hectares in the Mkhchyan community.

ArmInfo. Criminal prosecution has been instituted against former Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan, on charges of abuse of office and legalization of  property of alleged illegal origin (land plots). A motion has been  submitted to the court to elect a preventive measure in the form of  detention. Yerem Sargsyan, Hovik Abrahamyan's lawyer, shared this  information on his Facebook page. 

ArmInfo. Former Speaker of the National Assembly, former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has been detained. This information was confirmed by the Anti-Corruption  Committee.

ArmInfo. A Radisson hotel complex will be constructed on a plot of land in Tsaghkadzor that was illegally privatized many years ago and later acquired by an  individual affiliated with former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan.  This information was reported by Hetq.

ArmInfo.Karen Isakhanyan has been appointed advisor to Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan.  according to the official website of the government, the  corresponding decision  Papikyan signed on August 10.

This was discussed at today's government meeting.  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that there were facts that some of the mansions were built without permission, that is, illegally.
