Arminfo.  Russia is ready to discuss with Armenia the prospects for expanding military cooperation as part of the inventory of bilateral ties outlined by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.  Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated this during a briefing on September 15.

Arminfo. At its plenary session on September 15, the National Assembly of Armenia adopted, in the second and final reading, amendments to the law “On Administrative-Territorial Division.”

ArmInfo.  During the military aggression against Armenia in 2022, no interference from the Russian military base was observed. This was stated by Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Aleksanyan at a briefing on September 15.

Arminfo.  Russia has not received any requests from Armenia to withdraw the Russian military base from Gyumri and continues to consider it an important element of the security of the republic and the South Caucasus. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin told Izvestia.

ArmInfo. Veronika Zonabend, the wife of former Artsakh State Minister and philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan, who is currently in Azerbaijani custody, donated a collection of paintings to the city of Gyumri.

ArmInfo.   The presence of Russia’s 102nd military base in Gyumri is not a priority for the Republic of Armenia: if the Russian side needs it, this should be discussed with the Armenian side. Member of the RA National Assembly from the ruling “Civil Contract” faction Armen Khachatryan stated this on September 14 in a conversation with journalists.

Arminfo. The Armenian authorities want to continue the process of consolidating communities. At the September 14 plenary session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, amendments to the law "On the Administrative-Territorial Division" are being discussed in the first reading.

ArmInfo. 15 families living in the Spitak earthquake zone will be able to take advantage of the state housing assistance program. A government decision dated September 3 will allocate 107.8 million drams to provide these families with housing certificates.
