The Armenian authorities do not intend to reconsider their position on the country's railways, as stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan  to  journalists on July 2, when asked about the possibility of changing  the Armenian government's approach to the railway concession  transferred to Russian Railways, amid restrictions imposed by the  Russian Federation on the supply of Armenian products to the Russian  market.

He  noted that there have been no signals from the Armenian side about  the need to withdraw the Russian military base from Armenia.

That's how many days and nights the Soviet people's journey to the Great Victory lasted. The "Candle of Remembrance" event, dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow—the start of the Great Patriotic War—was held in Gyumri.

ArmInfo.  A preliminary investigation has been launched into the emergency landing of a  Pobeda Airlines plane flying from Gyumri to Moscow. Law enforcement  officials are determining the causes and conditions of the erroneous  activation of the depressurization sensor. This was reported in a  press release by the Western Interregional Transport Investigative  Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

ArmInfo. The passenger plane en route from Gyumri to Moscow that raised a distress signal has landed in Makhachkala. This was reported by Pobeda Airlines, the airline operating the flight, according to TASS.

ArmInfo.Kamo Grigoryan, the son of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) candidate Martun Grigoryan, has been arrested for two months.

ArmInfo.Russia sent a note of protest to Armenia over the act of vandalism at the "Mother Armenia" memorial to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War in Gyumri. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova during a briefing on June 18.

ArmInfo.  Gyumri residents have clearly expressed their support for holding early local  government elections through their recent votes. This was stated by  Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on June 17 during the  government's Q&A session in the National Assembly, in response to  questions from deputies.

ArmInfo. Artsakh's Cultural Heritage Ombudsman and Vice President of the Azgayin Historical and Cultural NGO, Hovik Avanesov, sent official letters to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Russian Ambassador to Armenia  Sergey Kopyrkin regarding Moscow's position on the protection of the  historical memory of the Great Patriotic War.

ArmInfo.  In fact, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was re-elected not to a third, but to a fourth term, as stated by Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan in a conversation with journalists in Parliament. He was responding  to a question regarding why Pashinyan is seeking another term, given his  previous opposition in 2018 to the attempts of the third president,  Serzh Sargsyan, to remain in power.
