ArmInfo. Ameriabank and the OPEC Fund for International Development (The OPEC Fund) signed a USD 50 million loan agreement. The agreement was signed during OPEC Fund Development Forum 2026 in Vienna, which also marked the 50th anniversary of the institution.

ArmInfo. Armenia's general election result signals broad policy continuity, possibly reinforcing the country's westward geopolitical trajectory and likely supporting further progress in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process, as stated in  Fitch Ratings report. However, the report emphasizes  that its  high exposure to Russia and its reliance on Russian energy remains a  significant economic vulnerability.

ArmInfo.  On 26 November, Ardshinbank and the EBRD signed three agreements under a new cooperation package, totaling more than USD 155 million equivalent in financing. The funds are aimed at supporting lending to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), expanding green economy financing, and developing infrastructure in the country.

ArmInfo.Fitch Ratings, one of the leading international rating agencies, has released an updated report indicating a  decrease in the likelihood of renewed conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Armenian Finance Minister Vahe  Hovhannisyan shared this information in a post on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.At the meeting on 27^th of August this year, the Board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia granted its preliminary approval for Ardshinbank CJSC to acquire 75% or more of direct significant stake in HSBC Bank Armenia. Prior to this, on 6^th of June the Commission for the Protection of Competition also approved the concentration of Ardshinbank and HSBC Bank Armenia.
