ArmInfo. Yerevan has once again reaffirmed its status as an "open-air museum" with the inauguration of a new cultural space in the city center. Located in  Misak Manushyan Park, the site now features an exhibition of 13 sculptures by Ashot Harutyunyan.

ArmInfo.Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the Armenian parliament from the opposition "With Honor"  faction, has harshly criticized the acting director of  the Anushavan Ter-Ghevondyan Music School in Yerevan for removing a painting from an exhibition pavilion.  The painting depicted the "We  Are Our Mountains" monument, commonly known as the "Grandmother and Grandfather" monument in Artsakh.

Russia consistently supports the efforts of Azerbaijan and Armenia aimed at the full and comprehensive normalization of relations, as stated by  Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov  at a press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, following  their talks in Moscow.

The defense team for Gagik Tsarukyan, businessman and leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party, has filed a special appeal with the Criminal Court of Appeal of Armenia, seeking to overturn the decision to detain him as a preventive measure. Emin Khachatryan, one of Tsarukyan's lawyers,  shared this information on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan visited the French Embassy in Armenia on  the occasion of the country's national holiday, Bastille Day.   According to the presidential press service, Khachaturyan  congratulated Ambassador Olivier Decotigny, represented by President  Emmanuel Macron, and the friendly people of France, wishing them  peace, success, and prosperity.

ArmInfo. On July 16, a working meeting was held at the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia to discuss ongoing efforts to develop an integrated border management system within the framework of the Armenia-EU visa liberalization dialogue. The meeting was attended by representatives  of the NSS, the Office of the Security Council, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the State Revenue  Committee, as well as international experts.

Political authorities constantly and publicly announce the initiation of  criminal and other proceedings against this or that individual, after which the entire law enforcement system, investigative bodies, the prosecutor's office, and the courts begin to execute these political directives, as stated by Yerem Sargsyan, one of the attorneys for businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party.  

ArmInfo.Russian-American investor Konstantin Sokolov has been appointed Chairman of the TRIPP+ Enterprise Fund, a new fund designed to finance infrastructure projects in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Central Asian countries.

ArmInfo. The Management Council of the Small and Medium- Sized Entrepreneurs (SME) Cooperation Association of Armenia has issued a statement expressing concern over the actions of law enforcement agencies against the business of Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party.  The statement was released on behalf of Hakob Avagyan, Chairman of the SME Cooperation Association's Management Council. 

ArmInfo. The Armenian government adopted a draft law ratifying the Framework Agreement on  Strategic Partnership for the Implementation of TRIPP (Trump Route  for International Peace and Prosperity). This decision was approved  at a government meeting on July 16.

ArmInfo. Human rights activist Hovhannes Ishkhanyan announced the creation of a working group aimed at repealing the residency requirement for participation in elections  in Armenia, calling the legislative changes "an electoral outcast."

ArmInfo.The European Union is not exerting sufficient pressure on Azerbaijan to secure the release of Armenian captives, as stated by Armen Ishkhanyan, son of  the former Chairman of the National Assembly of Artsakh, David  Ishkhanyan, during a conference in Brussels titled " Armenian  Prisoners in Azerbaijan and the Imperative of European Union  Engagement".

ArmInfo.The process of normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia will continue in close coordination with Azerbaijan, according to the Turkish Ministry  of Foreign Affairs' 2026 Action Program.  The document notes that  ensuring lasting peace and stability in the South Caucasus remains  one of Ankara's top foreign policy priorities.
