ArmInfo. The visit of the Russian parliamentary delegation to Armenia is timely and relevant,  as stated by the Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko on June 6 in Yerevan following a meeting with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

ArmInfo. On June 4, the Corruption Prevention Commission received a statement from the rector of the Academy of Advocates of Armenia, Ara Zohrabyan, regarding the  statements made by Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol  Pashinyan against representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church.  Acting Chairperson of the Commission Mariam Galstyan stated this in a  conversation with journalists in parliament on June 6.

ArmInfo. Armenian-Russian relations have a rich history, built on mutual respect and  centuries-old ties. Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic  of Armenia Alen Simonyan made this statement during the 10th  Russian-Armenian Interregional Forum on June 6.  

ArmInfo.  On June 6, Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan received a delegation headed by Speaker of the Council of the  Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation  Valentina Matviyenko. As reported by the press service of the  National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Simonyan first held a  one-on-one meeting with his Russian counterpart, which was followed  by a meeting in an expanded format.

ArmInfo. Voicing the problems existing in the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC) does not mean interfering in its affairs and violating the separate status of the  Church from the state. This opinion was expressed by the Minister of  Justice of Armenia Srbuhi Galyan on June 6 in a conversation with  journalists in parliament.

ArmInfo.  Today's meeting of the inter-parliamentary commission on cooperation between the parliaments of Armenia and Russia is another important step towards strengthening  the dialogue between the legislative bodies of the two countries.  This was stated by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the  Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan during the meeting of the  commission that opened on June 6 in Yerevan.

On June 6, a group of pro-Westerners once again organized a picket near the building of the Armenian parliament in connection with the expected visit of the  Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of  Russia Valentina Matviyenko, who arrived in Yerevan today on an  official visit.

ArmInfo.  The format of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the National Assembly of the Republic of  Armenia is in demand. This was stated by the Chairperson of the  Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation  Valentina Matviyenko at the opening ceremony of the 39th meeting of  the inter- parliamentary commission on cooperation between the  parliaments of the two countries.

ArmInfo.  The Visual Armenia Development Foundation, within the framework of the Ashkharatsuyts educational program, has been implementing the Smart Screens for  Schools program since 2023 with the aim of equipping secondary  schools with modern technology. ArmInfo.  Two minor residents of the Syunik region of Armenia got lost and ended up in the territory of Azerbaijan. This was reported by the National Security Service of  the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo. The Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan believes that since the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC) has decided to  actively interfere in political processes, it should also be ready to  <answer>.

ArmInfo.  The initiative of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's wife "Learning is fashionable" is being implemented with budget money. This was stated by the Chief of Staff  of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan  on June 6 at the parliamentary hearings on the execution of the state  budget for 2024.

ArmInfo. The court suspended the decision to increase parking fees in Yerevan on red and blue dotted lines. This was reported on a social network by Armenak Danielyan, a  member of the Mother Armenia faction of the Yerevan Council of  Elders. Currently, parking fees are being collected in violation of  the law, legal experts insist.

ArmInfo.  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, on the occasion of  Constitution Day.  The message, as reported by the PM office, reads:

ArmInfo. The situation regarding illegal drug trafficking and psychotropic drugs in Armenia was alarming, but in recent years, as a result of changes in state policy, certain positive trends have been recorded, as stated by   Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic Arpine Sargsyan during a  government meeting on June 5. According to her,  in 2018, there were  877  cases of such crimes, but by 2023, there was an increase in the  detection of these crimes, with the number reaching 5070.

ArmInfo.As previously reported, the beneficiary of The Power of One Dram program in April—for the third time —was the “4090” Charitable Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to addressing the social and educational needs of veterans who participated in the wars since the April War. This time, a total of 4,919,726 AMD was raised through the program, a portion of which was allocated to provide health insurance support to 60 beneficiaries of the foundation.

ArmInfo.The companies and  will donate their aviation technical property  worth 30.1 million drams to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.  The decision was made on June 5 at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
