ArmInfo. On June 4, the Corruption Prevention Commission received a statement from the rector of the Academy of Advocates of Armenia, Ara Zohrabyan, regarding the  statements made by Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol  Pashinyan against representatives of the Armenian Apostolic Church.  Acting Chairperson of the Commission Mariam Galstyan stated this in a  conversation with journalists in parliament on June 6.

On June 6, a group of pro-Westerners once again organized a picket near the building of the Armenian parliament in connection with the expected visit of the  Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of  Russia Valentina Matviyenko, who arrived in Yerevan today on an  official visit.

ArmInfo.  The Visual Armenia Development Foundation, within the framework of the Ashkharatsuyts educational program, has been implementing the Smart Screens for  Schools program since 2023 with the aim of equipping secondary  schools with modern technology. ArmInfo.  According to 12 satellite observations conducted by the Caucasus Heritage Watch organization, Azerbaijan has already destroyed 14 sites of Armenian religious and  cultural heritage, including churches and cemeteries.

This was stated by the Chief of Staff  of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Harutyunyan  on June 6 at the parliamentary hearings on the execution of the state  budget for 2024.

ArmInfo. The court suspended the decision to increase parking fees in Yerevan on red and blue dotted lines. This was reported on a social network by Armenak Danielyan, a  member of the Mother Armenia faction of the Yerevan Council of  Elders. Currently, parking fees are being collected in violation of  the law, legal experts insist. 

ArmInfo.  Zhanna Andreasyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, received a delegation led by  Minister of Culture of Georgia Tinatin  Rukhadze, who is in Armenia on an official visit.

ArmInfo. The situation regarding illegal drug trafficking and psychotropic drugs in Armenia was alarming, but in recent years, as a result of changes in state policy, certain positive trends have been recorded, as stated by   Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic Arpine Sargsyan during a  government meeting on June 5. According to her,  in 2018, there were  877  cases of such crimes, but by 2023, there was an increase in the  detection of these crimes, with the number reaching 5070.

ArmInfo.As previously reported, the beneficiary of The Power of One Dram program in April—for the third time —was the “4090” Charitable Foundation. The foundation is dedicated to addressing the social and educational needs of veterans who participated in the wars since the April War. This time, a total of 4,919,726 AMD was raised through the program, a portion of which was allocated to provide health insurance support to 60 beneficiaries of the foundation.

ArmInfo.The companies and  will donate their aviation technical property  worth 30.1 million drams to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.  The decision was made on June 5 at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

ArmInfo.In 2025, water intake from Lake Sevan will be allowed in the amount of up to 131.8 million cubic  meters. The resolution on this was adopted on June 5 at a government meeting.

ArmInfo.  of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of  Armenia is being reorganized by merging with the state non-profit organization (SNCO) , and creating a branch of this organization - the Military History Museum . In addition, the monument located in the Victory Park will be transferred to the management of the Ministry of Culture, Sports  and Sports. The decision was made by the Armenian Cabinet on June 5.

ArmInfo. Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan's term has expired in accordance with the Constitution. This was stated by his lawyer, Roman Yeritsyan, on June 4 during a conversation with journalists following Shahramanyan's interrogation at the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

However,  Hovhannisyan declined to comment on the current relevance of this  issue.

ArmInfo. The French region of Ile-de-France has assisted the authorities of the capital of Armenia in developing a project to change traffic on several streets in Yerevan. These changes will be implemented in June and are aimed at relieving traffic flows in the city. This was announced at a press  conference on June 4 by the head of the Yerevan City Hall's Transport  Department, Vazgen Harutyunyan.

ArmInfo. In 2025, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) registered 1 laboratory-confirmed case of West Nile fever in Armenia. As noted by the press service of the Ministry of Health, West Nile fever is a  transmissible viral disease transmitted mainly by mosquitoes. The  infection is not transmitted from person to person. It has a clearly  defined seasonality, from June to October, due to favorable  conditions for the reproduction and spread of mosquitoes.
