ArmInfo.  Fines should be imposed for failure to pay public transport fares. This was stated by Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a working session of the Yerevan City Hall on  May 19.

The Anti-Corruption Committee of Armenia has found out that a candidate from a bloc of  parties participating in the snap elections for the Council of Elders in the Gyumri community on March 30, 2025, promised an electoral bribe to a resident of Gyumri in exchange for  participation in the elections, and for  recruiting voters to support the bloc of parties he represents.

ArmInfo. The former head of the General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA), with the assistance of the director of the enterprise subordinate to him, F.M. and his cousin K.M., used his official position contrary to the interests of  the service, thereby causing significant damage to the legitimate  interests of the state and the enterprise, and inadvertently entailed  grave consequences, the press service of the Investigative Committee  of Armenia reports.

ArmInfo. Nikol Pashinyan's government has been feeding the people with promises for 8 years now, and keeps repeating about the construction of 300 schools and 500 kindergartens, but in reality not even 10% of what was announced has been built. This was stated from the rostrum of the parliament by Artur Khachatryan, an MP from the opposition faction "Armenia", on  May 14. 

ArmInfo. The decree on the dissolution of Artsakh is null and void and contradicts both the basic law of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) and other legal acts. Moreover, after moving to Yerevan, Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan published a decree dated September 26, 2023, which  invalidated the decree on the dissolution of Artsakh. 

ArmInfo.  The statement disseminated by the Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan, alleging that on May 13, between 08:45 and 09:30 p.m., the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia opened fire on Azerbaijani combat positions  located in the eastern and southeastern sections of the border, does  not correspond to reality, the RA Ministry of Defense reports.   

ArmInfo.  The Armenian Defense Ministry has  reported the death of Karen Edgari Avetisyan, a serviceman of a military unit, due to electrocution. According to the Armenian Defense Ministry, the incident occurred on May 13 at about 10:30 under still unknown circumstances.

ArmInfo.  As a result of active investigative actions, many persons who took part in the riots of November 9, 2020 have been identified. This was stated on May 12 from the rostrum of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of  Armenia Artur Poghosyan, speaking about the progress of the  investigation of the criminal case on the attempt on the life of the  then Chairman of the National Assembly, and now the Minister of  Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.

ArmInfo.  Former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Lieutenant General Mikael Arzumanyan, who joined the Artsakh Liberation War at the age of 16, has been serving a prison sentence for almost three years - this sentence is nothing more than political persecution, opposition MP Gegham Manukyan wrote on his Facebook account.
