ArmInfo.  This year, the commemorative events on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide will once again take place in conditions when the existence of the Armenian state is under threat. This is stated in  the publication of the member of the Bureau of the ARF  "Dashnaktsutyun", co-chairman of the Coordinating Council of Armenian  Organizations of France (CCAF) Murad Papazian on Facebook.

ArmInfo. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a motion to recognize April 24  as Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day within the county. As reported by the Pasadena Now website, the Armenian Genocide took place between 1915 and 1916, when millions of Christians in the Ottoman Empire were  displaced. According to the Encyclopedia of the Holocaust, as many as 1.2 million people were killed. Los Angeles County is  now home to the largest Armenian diaspora outside of Armenia.

ArmInfo.  Victory Day, celebrated on May 9, is also a day of victory for the Armenian people, as stated by NA Chairman Alen Simonyan in an interview with journalists on April 15, while responding to a question about whether  RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan would take part in the celebrations  in Moscow, especially in light of the European Union's call on EU  candidate countries not to participate in these events.  As the  speaker noted, the Armenian people lost 300,000 people during World  War II, not to mention the participation of Armenians in resistance  movements. The speaker added that some may not like Armenia's stance,  but the country has its own interests in this regard. When asked  about Armenia's absence from such events last year, the NA Chairman  noted that it was inconvenient to participate at that time.  Furthermore, this year marks a jubilee - the 80th anniversary of the  Great Victory.  

ArmInfo.  The third president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan,  has yet to understand that the political force represented by the Civil Contract party was brought to power by the people, as stated by NA Chairman  Alen Simonyan to journalists on April 15, while commenting on the remarks made by Sargsyan at the anniversary meeting of the Republican Party.

The idea could be included in the new version of the country's Constitution, he announced on April 15 in parliament during a  discussion of the report on the implementation of the RA government  program for 2024.

ArmInfo.  The ruling Civil Contract faction of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia rejected the draft law on the abolition of the income declaration system for individuals proposed by the opposition Armenia faction at its session on April 15. Only 27 deputies voted for including the  issue on the agenda of the NA session, with 59 against and 1  abstention.
