ArmInfo.Parliamentary elections did not take place in Armenia on June 7, 2026. Instead, what occurred was a systematic falsification of the vote—a  pre-planned criminal act, orchestrated by a centralized leadership  and facilitated by the direct intervention of the head of the regime,  aimed at usurping the will of the people. This statement was issued  by the Executive Body of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), led  by the third president, Serzh Sargsyan.

ArmInfo. Police of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported the arrest of a 41-year-old man accused of damaging the gilded letters of hero cities on the monuments of the "Mother Armenia" memorial complex in Gyumri.

Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovhannisyan wrote this on his Facebook page, reacting to the Central  Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia's announcement of the final  results of the parliamentary elections held in the country on June 7. 

ArmInfo.  The Armenian opposition, having entered parliament, faces a difficult and unfair fight. This opinion was expressed on his Facebook page by Narek Karapetyan, a board member of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, in response to the Central Electoral Commission's announcement of the final results of the parliamentary elections held in the country on June 7.

ArmInfo. In practice and within the bounds of common sense, there are no obstacles that could prevent the Prosperous Armenia Party from entering the National Assembly. This was stated by PAP press secretary Iveta Tonoyan.

ArmInfo.  The prosecutor has initiated a public criminal prosecution against Karapet Guloyan, the former Governor of the Kotayk Province, on charges of unlawfully damaging and altering property under judicial attachment.

ArmInfo.  Edmon Marukyan, leader of the Bright Armenia party, has accused the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of manipulating vote tallies and omitting his party's votes across multiple polling stations. As evidence, Marukyan presented vote count protocols from several locations within  Armenia's Gegharkunik region.

ArmInfo.A total of 39,650 applications for Armenian citizenship have been submitted by Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Armen Mkrtchyan announced this on June 9 at a joint meeting of the RA National Assembly committees discussing the implementation of the 2025 national budget.

ArmInfo.The final results of the parliamentary elections in Armenia will be announced on June 14, and five days later, the opposition, if it wishes, can appeal them to the Constitutional Court. This was stated by Vahagn Hovakimyan, head of the Central Election Commission, on Armenia Public Television.

ArmInfo.The National Democratic Pole Party (NDP) has called on citizens and political forces in Armenia to prevent  a flagrant violation of law and  democracy, and through joint efforts, thwart steps toward a seizure  of power and the establishment of a dictatorship in the country. 

ArmInfo.  The "Strong Armenia" bloc will issue a more detailed statement after the actual counting and reporting is complete. Narek Karapetyan, a member of the "Strong Armenia" party, announced this in a video address.

ArmInfo.  The extremely difficult atmosphere during the campaign for the latest parliamentary elections in Armenia was accompanied by mass arrests, detentions, and insults.  Dmitry Kobitsky, Head of the IPA CIS Council Secretariat, stated this at a press conference on June 8.

ArmInfo. The Civil Contract Party is just two votes short of a 3/5 majority in parliament. Former Justice Minister and former Deputy Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Arpine Hovhannisyan wrote this on her Facebook page, referring to the preliminary vote counts from all 2,005 polling stations following the country's parliamentary elections.

ArmInfo.  As of 10:00 AM on June 8, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Operations Center, which dialed 112 and the 87-67 hotline, received 619 calls about possible violations during voting in the parliamentary elections in Armenia, both informational and subject to investigation.

ArmInfo.  The Central Election Commission of Armenia presented preliminary vote count data from all 2,005 polling stations, according to which Nikol Pashinyan's ruling Civil Contract party received 49.81% or 727,160 votes.

ArmInfo. According to the Central Electoral Commission, as of 6:30 AM on June 8, Armenia's ruling Civil Contract party received 50.86% (414,608) of the votes cast.
