In connection with the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Artsakh on September 2, a series of events are planned through which the Artsakh people will reaffirm their right to identity. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters on Facebook.

ArmInfo. The first session of the National Assembly of Armenia of the ninth convocation will take place on August 2 at 10:00 AM. It will be primarily devoted to the formation of the governing bodies of the new parliament.

ArmInfo. The parliamentary opposition should take the initiative to establish two investigative commissions in the National Assembly of Armenia: one on political  prisoners and another to investigate the abuse of state resources.  This proposal was addressed to the opposition by Armen Ashotyan, Vice  Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), writing from the  Vardashen penitentiary.

ArmInfo.  Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan, even before assuming his duties as Speaker of the Parliament, has already decided to restrict  the professional activities of the media in the country's legislative  body. Marianna Ghahramanyan, press secretary of the "Strong Armenia"  bloc, announced this on her Facebook page.

ArmInfo.Narek Karapetyan, a member of the Strong Armenia bloc's political council, will give up his parliamentary salary in favor of charitable contributions. He announced this in a conversation with journalists on July 24.

ArmInfo. On July 21, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia hosted a mandate-presentation ceremony for deputies of the country's  9th-convocation parliament, which was formed following the regular  parliamentary elections held on June 7.

ArmInfo.  As of 10:00 AM on June 8, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Operations Center, which dialed 112 and the 87-67 hotline, received 619 calls about possible violations during voting in the parliamentary elections in Armenia, both informational and subject to investigation.

ArmInfo.  Armenian citizens are actively participating in the elections: during the first hours of polling stations, voter turnout reached 187,917, as stated by  by  Gohar Meloyan, a representative of the Strong Armenia party,  co-founder of the International Center for the Development of  Parliamentarism, and an expert in constitutional law.

ArmInfo.  The "Strong Armenia" party is prepared for any scenario, according to a statement posted on Facebook by the party's spokesperson, Marianna Ghahramanyan. Her remarks come in response to the pro-Western Republic Party, led by  Aram Sargsyan, submitting an application to the Central Electoral  Commission (CEC) demanding the annulment of Samvel Karapetyan's  "Strong Armenia" bloc registration for the country's upcoming  parliamentary elections on June 7.

ArmInfo. Six hundred applications from Artsakh residents have already been filed with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to protect their property seized by Azerbaijan as a result of the occupation of Artsakh. This was announced on his Facebook page by Artak Beglaryan, head of the Artsakh Union public organization and former State Minister of Artsakh and the Nagorno- Karabakh Republic.
