ArmInfo.  The top candidate of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, Narek Karapetyan, cast his ballot in the parliamentary elections at a school in the Tashir community of  Armenia's Lori region.

ArmInfo.  Polling stations opened at 8:00 AM. As of that time members of election commissions were absent at 50 polling stations, a stated by Vahagn Hovakimyan,  Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC), during  a press  conference on June 7. However, in only three instances were members  of the leadership team absent—two chairpersons and one secretary.

ArmInfo.  Ameriabank and the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO) have signed a EUR 120 million loan agreement during the EBRD Annual Meeting held in Riga, Latvia. The agreement aims to expand access to finance for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Armenia and further promote sustainable development through green financing.

Her remarks come in response to the pro-Western Republic Party, led by  Aram Sargsyan, submitting an application to the Central Electoral  Commission (CEC) demanding the annulment of Samvel Karapetyan's  "Strong Armenia" bloc registration for the country's upcoming  parliamentary elections on June 7.

ArmInfo. A presentation of a new book by French-Armenian historian and genocide scholar Raymond Kevorkian, "Ending the Genocide: Mustafa Kemal and the Extermination of Armenian and Greek Survivors (1918-1922)," will take place in  Yerevan. The book will be presented on June 6 at 3:00 PM in the AGBU  conference hall.

ArmInfo.  Armenian security forces are conducting searches at Armat Media. According to media reports, the media outlet is affiliated with the team of Strong  Armenia party leader Samvel Karapetyan and is owned by party member  Alik Aleksanyan.  According to editor Nelly Avetisyan, security  forces have seized computers and digital equipment from an Armenian  media outlet, effectively stripping the publication of its  operational archives.

ArmInfo.A decision has been made to detain former Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Armen Ashotyan, Finance Minister Gagik  Khachatryan, his son Artyom Khachatryan, former Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan, former Rector of the Valery Brusov State University  Gayane Gasparyan, former Vice Rector Artur Avagyan, and former Deputy Director of the Yerevan Mall Harutyun Tadevosyan on charges of abuse  of office and money laundering in excess of 200 million drams. 

ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.  According to the government's press service, The interlocutors discussed issues related to  responding to the economic challenges facing Armenia and further  developing bilateral cooperation.

ArmInfo.   Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was found guilty and convicted across three Armenian court instances for the events of March 1, 2008, before being acquitted under strange circumstances by a ruling from the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).  Robert Kocharyan, the second president of Armenia and the prime ministerial candidate from the  Armenia bloc, made this statement during interview with Armenia TV  channel.
