ArmInfo.  Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan received the Secretary General  of the Council of Europe, Alain Berset, who is in Armenia on an official visit.  As  reported by the PM's office, Pashinyan welcomed Alain Berset's visit  and  highly appreciated the cooperation with the Council of Europe,  emphasizing its role in  enhancing democracy, human rights, and the  rule of law.  The Prime Minister thanked the Council of Europe for  its continued support to democratic reforms  in Armenia.

ArmInfo. On June 9, within the framework of the 3rd UN Ocean Conference held in Nice, Robert  Abisoghomonyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia, met with Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of Germany  Rita Schwarzeluhr-Sutter. The meeting was also attended by Hambardzum Matevosyan, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and Chairman of the COP-17 Organizing Committee.

ArmInfo.  The conclusions of the appointed forensic medical examination have been received in the case of the former Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, former Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan. The conclusion was read out at the court hearing today by Judge Givi Hovhannisyan, from which it became clear that Khachatryan needs to undergo surgery in Germany as soon as possible.
