ArmInfo.  Third President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan commented on the  release of documents by the RA government regarding the negotiation  process on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

ArmInfo. On August 12, the commencement of the Armenia-U.S. joint exercise "EAGLE PARTNER 2025" was announced.  

ArmInfo. In preparation for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the Armenia-U.S. joint exercise "EAGLE PARTNER 2025" will be held from 12 to 20 August in Armenia.  Servicemembers from the peacekeeping brigade of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, U.S.  Army Europe and Africa, and the Kansas National Guard participate in the   exercise.  

ArmInfo. Armenia will have a defense attache at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Armenia to the UN. The draft resolution, initiated by the Ministry of  Defense, was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers on March 20.

ArmInfo. The closing ceremony of the joint Armenia-US military  exercise "Eagle Partner 2024" held in Armenia from July 15-24 within the framework of preparation for participation in peacekeeping operations took place.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia  Sergei Lavrov stated at a press conference following the meeting of  the CSTO Ministerial Council.

ArmInfo. The State Duma of the Russian Federation at a plenary session on April 5 ratified the protocol on amending the Agreement on Peacekeeping Activities of the  Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

ArmInfo.By "abstaining" from voting on the situation in Ukraine at the UN General Assembly official Yerevan was, no doubt, acting in Armenia's security  interests, Stepan Safaryan of the Armenian Institute of International  and Security Affairs said in an interview with ArmInfo.    

ArmInfo.Preliminary analyses and conditional forecasts show that the Russian military operation in Ukraine could continue for around a month, Vladimir Yevseyev, Head of  the Eurasian Integration and Development Department of the SCO  Institute of CIS countries, said in an interview with ArmInfo.  

ArmInfo. On January 13, this year, in Almaty, a ceremony was held to complete a CSTO peacekeeping operation on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the CSTO  official website reports.

ArmInfo.The Council of Defense Ministers and Foreign Ministers of the CSTO will discuss on Tuesday a draft protocol on amending the main agreement on the  peacekeeping activities of the CSTO. This was stated by Secretary  General of the organization Stanislav Zas on Monday during a meeting  of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty  Organization (PA CSTO).

ArmInfo.  The package of  documents regulating the framework of the Russian peacekeeping  operations in the zone of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was signed  following a meeting in Yerevan by the heads of the defense  departments of Armenia and Russia Vagharshak Harutyunyan and Sergey  Shoigu.

ArmInfo. Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the UN, Mher Margaryan, on the eve of his visit to the UN Security Council meeting entitled "UN peacekeeping operations. Women in peacekeeping."

ArmInfo.Armenian Defense Minister David Tonoyan expressed his conviction during his speech at the UN peacekeeping conference that this meeting was a good  opportunity to discuss ways in which it would be possible to work  more efficiently towards the implementation of peacekeeping  missions.
