ArmInfo.  The "Kamk"  public initiative for the protection of Armenian values has urged the citizens of Armenia to participate in the June 7 parliamentary  elections at all costs, thereby preventing the Armenian authorities  from losing the last remaining piece of the Homeland.  According to a  statement from the initiative received by ArmInfo, "Kamk" has been  fighting for years to preserve national values and interests, and  continues this fight today during these fateful days when Armenian  statehood and independence are at stake.

ArmInfo. Yerevan. June 1. ArmInfo. Marianna Mkrtchyan. The Armenian government  has expanded its arrests of government critics for alleged  speech-based offenses ahead of the June 7 parliamentary elections,  said the International Observatory for Democracy in Armenia (IODA). 

ArmInfo. A meeting of the jubilee commission dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the  Alexander Spendiaryan National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre was  held at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports  (MOESCS).  During the meeting, the participants wrapped up  discussions on various proposals submitted for organizing the  centenary events. The commission deemed programs designed for wide  public audiences to be the most appropriate.

ArmInfo.On May 26, the leader of the "Strong Armenia" party, Samvel Karapetyan, filed a second lawsuit against the ruling Civil Contract party and the Public Television of Armenia (PTA) for defamation.

ArmInfo. The Armenian people are celebrating First Republic Day in a completely new historical context. This was stated by RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the military parade dedicated to the holiday on May 28.

ArmInfo.Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu stated that Moscow regrets Yerevan's  position on security issues within the CSTO. He made this statement at a meeting of the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.

ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on the national holiday, the Day of Restoration of State Independence. The congratulatory message reads:

ArmInfo.  The Armenian authorities are doing everything possible to deteriorate relations with Russia, as stated by Robert Kocharyan, leader of the Armenia bloc and second President of the Republic of Armenia, during a  campaign in Vayk on May 25.

ArmInfo.  On May 22, the last bell rang in Armenian schools. This year, over 61,000 students graduated from schools in our country. Of these, 39,119 graduated from 9th grade and 22,205 from 12th grade.

ArmInfo.The International Observatory for Democracy in Armenia (IODA) will conduct its second fact-finding mission to Armenia from May 22 to 26, 2026, with the participation of Executive and Advisory Board members.

RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made this statement  on May 21 at a meeting with voters in Geghanist, Ararat  region.

The Supreme Spiritual Council of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC) has deemed highly surprising the assessment made by the pre-electoral delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in its interim statement dated May 13 regarding the "unprecedented  implication of the Armenian Apostolic Church in politics."
