ArmInfo.The Environmental Patrol Service of the Armenian Ministry of Environment recorded 903 violations in 2025, as stated by Armenian Minister of  Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan during a press conference in Yerevan, presenting the results of 2025.

ArmInfo.  A construction company destroyed 327 trees in Gyulagarak, causing material damage to the state amounting to 4.479 million drams. The RA Investigative Committee reports that the damage has been fully compensated, and a criminal case has been opened against one person.

ArmInfo.Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan and German Ambassador to Armenia Claudia Busch have reaffirmed their countries' willingness to enhance cooperation and continue a constructive dialogue for environmental protection and sustainable development.

ArmInfo.  Today, the total area of green spaces for public use in Yerevan has reached 910 hectares, corresponding to the level of the Soviet era green fund,  which at its peak was 908 hectares, as stated by Armen Begoyan,  director of the Yerevan City Hall's "Greening and Environmental  Protection" organization,  during a press conference in Yerevan. He  assured that overall, greening efforts in 2025 exceeded the results  of 2024: 13.5 hectares of new green space were created in Yerevan  this year, with a total of 4,500 trees  planted. "Moreover, out of  every 100 trees planted, 95 have survived and are fulfilling their  function," the official noted.

ArmInfo.  On December 11, RA Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan met with Deborah Barasa, Minister of Environment, Climate Change, and Forestry of the  Republic of Kenya. This was reported by the press service of the  Armenian ministry.

ArmInfo. The demarcation process, which supposedly will lead to the withdrawal of Azerbaijani troops from Armenia's sovereign territories, is in fact a fraud.  Former Ombudsman and head of the "Wings of Unity" political  initiative, Arman Tatoyan, wrote this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Next year, the first buds of 5,555 trees planted this year with AraratBank’s support will burst open, marking the beginning of the creation of 100 hectares of new forest. Maple, pine, oak, beech, pear and apple trees will enrich the landscape of village Lernajur of the Pambak community in Lori region.

ArmInfo.  Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan presented long- term and short-term measures to combat air pollution at a working meeting on December 1. Recalling that air  quality measuring devices have been installed at major construction  sites since 2024, he reported that deterioration in air quality  typically occurs between mid-November and mid-March.
