ArmInfo.  Fines should be imposed for failure to pay public transport fares. This was stated by Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a working session of the Yerevan City Hall on  May 19.

ArmInfo. Gegham Manukyan, a member of the National Assembly of Armenia from the opposition faction "Armenia", has called on the journalistic community to  boycott the activities of the Chairman of the NA Committee on Defense  and Security Andranik Kocharyan and all those MPs who express  solidarity with him.

ArmInfo. Today, March 14, the Yerevan City Hall will hold a discussion on the draft submitted by the "Mother Armenia" movement regarding with the increase in public transport prices. The draft was supported by 17,000 Armenian citizens with their signatures. This was announced by the leader of the "Mother Armenia" opposition faction in the Yerevan City Council of Elders, Andranik Tevanyan, on his Facebook page

ArmInfo. A scandalous audio recording has appeared in the Armenian segment of social media, in  which unknown individuals call on bus drivers not to drive the vehicle if passengers do not pay for the fare.

ArmInfo.As of yesterday, 4 drivers of Yerevan Buses CJSC were fired, while at the same time 4  drivers were reprimanded for their disrespectful attitude towards citizens.

ArmInfo. Since early morning, protests organized by members of the Mother Armenia faction in the Council of Elders have been ongoing in Yerevan. The boycotters  continue to demand the cancellation of the increase in transport  prices, calling on citizens to continue not to pay for travel.

ArmInfo. Yerevan City Hall will begin a fight against citizens who refuse to pay for public transport. During a working meeting of the City Hall on February 17, Mayor Tigran Avinyan proposed moving on to specific measures against citizens who boycott the unified ticket system. He noted that everything necessary should be done so that people who today justify their unwillingness to pay for public transport can no longer resort to these excuses. 

ArmInfo. Samvel Hakobyan, a member of the Council of Elders from the "Mother Armenia" faction,  announced the success of the boycott against the increase in public transportation fares in Yerevan.

ArmInfo. Since early morning on February 7, representatives of the Mother Armenia movement have continued their propaganda campaign to boycott the application of the new tariff for travel on Yerevan public transport.

ArmInfo. The increase in the fare on Yerevan public transport is justified, since the quality of services has significantly improved. This was stated to journalists on February 4 by the Chairperson of the RA National Assembly  Committee on Social Issues Eriknaz Tigranyan.

ArmInfo. The Mother Armenia faction in the Yerevan Council of Elders has once again appealed to the residents of the capital with a call to boycott the payment of 150 drams for travel on public transport in the city.

ArmInfo. We must make some efforts to put an end to the political show. In a similar way, Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, during a working session of the city hall, commented on the boycott of the new public transport tariffs of  150 drams by Yerevan residents, led by former mayor Hayk Marutyan,  which started on February 1. The faction of the Council of Elders  "Mother Armenia" also joined the protest movement.

ArmInfo. Since early morning of February 3, the Mother Armenia movement has resumed its campaign in favor of boycotting the new 150 dram public transport fare.

ArmInfo. Deputies of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the opposition faction "Armenia" today, February 1, joined the participants of the action boycotting the application of new fares for public transport.

ArmInfo. If the Armenian government takes even more significant steps aimed at finally breaking off allied relations with Russia, this is unlikely to bring significant benefits even in the short term, but in the medium term  it may create strategic risks for Armenia's national security and the  existence of modern Armenian statehood. This is stated in the  analytical report of the Primakov National Research Institute of  World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of  Sciences "Armenia's Foreign Policy at a Crossroads: the Crisis of  Multi-Vectorality".

This was stated by the deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from the opposition faction "Armenia" Kristine Vardanyan in a conversation  with journalists on February 1, commenting on the decision of the  Yerevan City Hall to increase the fare for public transport from 100  drams to 150 drams, which came into effect today. 

ArmInfo. Samvel Hakobyan, a member of the Council of Elders from the Mother Armenia faction, was not allowed into the meeting hall by decision of Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan after the brawl. In a conversation with journalists, Hakobyan asked to record that in his political activities he never allows himself to resort to insults or familiar expressions. 

ArmInfo. The leader of the Enlightened Armenia party, former Ambassador-at-Large Edmon Marukyan, has called on the Armenian public to boycott the process of universal income declaration.

ArmInfo. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan announced a new tariff for public transport, according to which the fare will be reduced from 300 to 150 drams, which means that the authorities are taking a step back under pressure from  society. A similar opinion was expressed by former mayor of the  capital Hayk Marutyan, who commented on the new decision of the  mayor's office.
