ArmInfo.  ANCA CEO Aram Hamparian has posted the following message on his Facebook account in defense of Russian-Armenian businessman Samvel Karapetyan:

ArmInfo.  The sixth meeting of the Armenia-EU Partnership Committee, formed on the basis of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), was held on  July 8 in Brussels.

ArmInfo. As part of his visit to Russia, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, representative of the Supreme Body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation "Dashnaktsutyun" (ARF), along with Armen Rustamyan, member of the Armenian parliament and representative of the ARF Bureau, held meetings with representatives of the political forces in the Russian State Duma.

ArmInfo. Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova has commented on information about Azerbaijan selling weapons to Ukraine.

ArmInfo.  Moscow considers the ban on the entry of Russian citizens to Armenia  as an unfriendly step, as stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign  Ministry Maria, Zakharova, during a weekly briefing on July 9 when  asked to assess  the denial of entry to Franz Klintsevich, former  State Duma deputy, senator of the Federation Council and chairman of  the Union of Afghan Veterans.

ArmInfo.  The war has moved to Armenia, but by other methods.  Turkey and Azerbaijan have entered the Armenian parliament, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the strategically important electrical networks. The leader of the Mother Armenia bloc Andranik Tevanyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  Since early morning on July 8, law enforcement officials have been conducting searches at the head office of the Electric Networks of Armenia company. 

ArmInfo. 13-year-old Aren Nazaryan from Artsakh will be awarded the international "Hot Heart" prize in Moscow, established by the All-Russian public-state  initiative.

ArmInfo.Armenian wrestlers returned from the European Freestyle Wrestling Championships among boys under 20 with one gold and one bronze medal, and the Armenian team finished fourth in the team standings.

ArmInfo. "After the unsuccessful war, Pashinyan did in Armenia what I did not do in 2011-2012: he arrested Armenian Ivanishvili (Bidzina Ivanishvili, founder of the ruling Georgian Dream party - ed.), billionaire Karapetyan (referring  to Samvel Karapetyan). Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili  noted this in his Facebook post, adding that Pashinyan has officially  taken a course on EU membership. 

ArmInfo.  Russian diplomats are in regular touch with the Azerbaijani side and are defending the interests of the detained Russians, as stated by Dmitry Peskov.  press secretary of the Russian president.

ArmInfo.  The Caucasus no longer has the patience to endure a new conflict. This was stated by Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan to journalists on board the plane upon his return from Azerbaijan.

ArmInfo.  Karen Igityan, a lecturer at the Russian-Armenian University and a political scientist, was banned from entering Armenia. Igityan himself reported  this on his Facebook page. "So, friends, I was banned from entering  Armenia. I was returning to Yerevan from Pyatigorsk, where I  participated in the "Caucasian Dialogue" and spoke about the  radicalism that Turkey is spreading in the Caucasus.

ArmInfo.  The RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reponded to the to allegations about the possible use of Armenian territory for military purposes.

ArmInfo. The Armenian MFA summoned the Russian Ambassador and handed him a note of protest against the “openly unfriendly, often hostile propaganda” against the Armenian government in the Russian media.

ArmInfo. The political survival of Nikol Pashinyan's government now relies less on popularity and  more on  the deep and comprehensive vacuum of trust in Armenia's political system, as  highlighted in a study conducted by Vache Tamrazyan, Deputy Chairman of the Center for Law and Freedom NGO.

ArmInfo. The public multiplex should not be used to serve foreign policy agendas, and Armenia's information space of Armenia should be free from the manipulative, propagandistic and provocative influence of any foreign force, attempting to interfere in the domestic political situation, as noted  in the statement by the Commission on Television and Radio of the Republic of Armenia regarding the ongoing attacks on the country's authorities in the Russian segment of Armenia's public multiplex. 

ArmInfo.  Former Prime Minister of Armenia and former CEO of ArmRosgazprom CJSC Karen Karapetyan spoke in defense of the arrested president of Tashir Group of Companies Samvel Karapetyan.

ArmInfo.The attitude of the authorities: intimidation, illegal nationalization, etc., kills business and leads to the fact that business will not invest in  Armenia at all. This is the opinion of the President of the Union of Armenians of Russia Ara Abrahamyan.

ArmInfo.  Businessman Ruben Vardanyan, who is in Azerbaijani prison, is of no use to anyone; there is no one in the world who would deal with this issue now.
