ArmInfo. David Gevorgyan has been dismissed from the post of aide to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This was reported by the press service of the Government of Armenia.

ArmInfo. Today's public attack on the former head of the Office of the Representative of Armenia on International Legal Issues, Liparit Drmeyan, is not accidental. This was written on his Facebook page by a member of the Wings of Unity party council and former chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee, David Ananyan.

ArmInfo. On July 30, a  working meeting chaired by Mesrop Mesropyan, Chairman of the Public  Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia, was held.  The meeting was attended by Suren Tovmasyan, Head of the Cadastre  Committee; Gegham Gevorgyan, Chairman of the Competition and Consumer  Protection Commission; and representatives from other interested  state agencies.

This development further reinforces Ashgabat’s growing profile as an emerging regional platform for international dialogue, sustainable urban transformation and infrastructure cooperation.

ArmInfo. During the monitoring period in Armenia from January to March 2026,  the Committee to Protect Freedom of Expression has recorded 30 cases of media rights violations.

ArmInfo.The process of nationalizing the Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC is politically motivated, as stated by David Ghazinyan, the company's former CEO, at a press conference on April 2.  

ArmInfo. During the trial, which lasted approximately 29 hours, all false facts and assumptions underlying the revocation of Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC's electricity transmission license were refuted. Lawyer Vardan Aloyan  wrote this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. The issue with Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) remains subject to arbitration proceedings. Narek Karapetyan, a member of the Strong Armenia party council, stated this in an interview with CIVILNET.

ArmInfo. Veolia Djur, the operator of Armenia's water supply system, has clarified  the  reasons for the transition to a 17-hour water supply schedule  in Yerevan and all regions of Armenia from May 1 to September 16 of this year. 

ArmInfo.All students studying at universities ranked in the top 50 global universities by the Shanghai Rankings will be exempt from military service in the  Armenian Armed Forces.

ArmInfo.On February 17, the military court in Baku sentenced Ruben Vardanyan to 20 years  of imprisonment. This verdict was not the product of an independent and impartial judicial process, as noted in a statement issued by Ruben Vardanyan's legal team. 

ArmInfo.  Integrity checking mechanisms fo individuals holding public office will be introduced in Armenia. The National Assembly of the Republic of  Armenia is discussing amendments to the laws "On Public Service" and  "On the Commission for the Prevention of Corruption" in the first  reading at its plenary session on February 10.

ArmInfo.  The Ministry of Health proposes expanding the professional education requirements for members of the executive bodies of state medical institutions. On  February 5, the Armenian government approved amendments and additions  to the Law "On Medical Care and Public Services."
