ArmInfo. President of Abkhazia Badra Gunba has signed decrees regarding the formation of the Cabinet of Ministers, as reported by the press service of the President of Abkhazia.  The government now includes Varazdat Minosyan, a member of the Public Chamber and businessman, who has been appointed as the Vice-Premier of Abkhazia.

ArmInfo. Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan spoke out against the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group and said that he had not had any contact with  Armenian authorities since the forced displacement. This was stated by Nagorno-Karabakh President Samvel Shahramanyan to journalists at the Artsakh representative office on April 18, in response to a question  about whether Armenian authorities were pressuring him.

ArmInfo.  A group of Artsakh residents gathered outside the Artsakh representative office in Yerevan, demanding the return of "the funds looted by NKR officials."  Specifically, they were calling for the "return of $467 million to  citizens, which they claim was appropriated by 48 families in  Artsakh."

ArmInfo.  President of the Republic of Artsakh Samvel Shahramanyan calls for an investigation into the issue of returning the loot. He made this statement on April 18 during a meeting with protesters who had gathered outside the  permanent representative office of Artsakh in Armenia. It should be  noted that the protesters are demanding the return of $467 million,  that were allocated to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic from Armenia's  state budget, but were then appropriated by 48 families.

ArmInfo.The leaders of the CIS member states will participate in the celebrations on May 9 in Moscow, commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This was announced by the Secretary General of the Commonwealth Sergei Lebedev at a meeting of the Council of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly, TASS reports.  "I am happy and pleased, just like you, to announce that all CIS heads of state will be  attending the celebrations in Moscow on May 9," he noted.

ArmInfo.The second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, rejected the proposal made in 2005 by the  then Prime Minister of Turkey, now President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to create a commission of historians to analyze the authenticity of the Armenian Genocide. This was stated by the head of the office of the  second president of Armenia Bagrat Mikoyan, in response to a statement made by the MP from the ruling Civil Contract party, Arusyak Julhakyan.

ArmInfo About 180 bloggers in Armenia were funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), as noted  by Stanford University professor Artur Khachikyan.  "Attention, attention: recent information reveals that the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has sponsored about 180 bloggers in Armenia, totaling  $20 million (US$20,000,000) per year. How do you like this democracy? How do you like this corruption?  Manipulating public opinion in another country  and leading to a catastrophe," the political scientist posted on his  Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Radical Islamists attacked an ancient Armenian church in the capital of Sudan, Khartoum, looting and destroying it from the inside. This was  reported by the well- known blogger Alexander Lapshin, citing the  Armenian journalist Vadim Harutyun.

The security situation in the South Caucasus and the concrete steps being taken by  the Armenian government to achieve stable and lasting peace were discussed at a meeting in Brussels between the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, and Special Adviser to the President of the European Commission, Elisabetta Belloni.

The Karabakh movement will not continue in Armenia, as stated by Armenian Prime Minister  Nikol Pashinyan in a conversation with reporters on April 16, while commenting on  reporter's question regarding the statements by the opposition and the third President Serzh Sargsyan that the Karabakh page is not closed, and it should be returned to the political agenda.  

ArmInfo.  The Artsakh Parliament held a session where it adopted the draft amendments to the Constitution of the Republic, according to which the continuity of state institutions is ensured.

ArmInfo.  Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has left for an official visit to Azerbaijan. This is Kavelashvili's first foreign visit since assuming office as  president.  As reported by the press service of the Georgian  president, during the visit Kavelashvili is scheduled to meet with  the President of Azerbaijan, as well as with the Prime Minister and  the head of parliament.  Discussions will focus on  bilateral  cooperation and regional security.  

ArmInfo.  The third president of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan,  has yet to understand that the political force represented by the Civil Contract party was brought to power by the people, as stated by NA Chairman  Alen Simonyan to journalists on April 15, while commenting on the remarks made by Sargsyan at the anniversary meeting of the Republican Party.

ArmInfo.  In 2018, the Armenian people lost to those forces in the South Caucasus that had their own calculations and plans and sought to implement them at all costs. This was stated by the third president of Armenia, the chairman of the Republican Party Serzh Sargsyan, at the jubilee meeting of the RPA on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the founding of this  political force.

This was stated by the third  President of Armenia, Chairman of the Republican Party Serzh Sargsyan  at the jubilee session of the RPA on the occasion of the 35th  anniversary of the founding of this political force.

ArmInfo.  During its term in office, compared to the previous 6-year period, the government of Nikol Pashinyan has increased financial assistance to its colleagues from Artsakh by 2.3 times. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan from the rostrum of the parliament on April  15.

ArmInfo.  Today the rights of the people of Artsakh are being violated, and tomorrow it could be the entire population of Armenia. This was stated by Saida Poghosyan, the chairperson of the public organization "In the Footsteps of Ancestors," at a rally outside  the Prosecutor General's Office of  Armenia on April 14.
