ArmInfo.  The government of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has joined Azerbaijan in notifying the Swiss Foreign Ministry of its undesirability of the Nagorno-Karabakh peace initiative, according to a statement from  Christian Solidarity International (CSI).

ArmInfo.  Narek Karapetyan, a member of the political council of the Strong Armenia party, called on opposition forces and citizens with opposition views to remember that  today they are fighting for the homeland and that only together can  they achieve change in the country.  He made this statement at a party press conference outside the Armenian parliament building, where Samvel Karapetyan's Strong Armenia bloc launched its election campaign for the upcoming June 7 elections.

ArmInfo.A criminal case has been launched against activist Mikael Margaryan, who engaged in a  verbal altercation with the Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, Alen Simonyan.

ArmInfo.A group of citizens, including the parents of those who went missing during the 44-day war of 2020, held a protest outside the Armenian parliament, demanding the publication of the report of the parliamentary  investigative commission established to investigate the circumstances of the 44-day military actions unleashed by the Azerbaijani-Turkish tandem against Artsakh on September 27, 2020. 

ArmInfo.  Two journalists from the Zhogovurd newspaper, Knar Manukyan and Sona Grigoryan, were expelled from the National Assembly of Armenia due to their accreditation being revoked. Meanwhile, Gegham Manukyan, a member of the National Assembly from the opposition Armenia faction, issued  passes for both journalists to enter the parliament building. Both  journalists were present at a meeting of the National Assembly  Committee on Defense and Security.

ArmInfo. The worsening of Armenian-Georgian relations due to the irresponsible actions of the current government will have not only political but also economic consequences. This was stated by Garnik Danielyan, a member of parliament from the opposition Armenia faction, regarding the  Georgian side's reaction to the ruling Civil Contract party's  endorsement of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly resolution  questioning the legitimacy of the Georgian government.

ArmInfo. Representatives from the youth wing of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) are holding a protest outside the country's parliament, where a session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly is currently taking place, to  draw attention to the issue of Armenian prisoners of war in Baku and  the political repression and criminal prosecution of opposition  members in Armenia. They arrived at the Armenian parliament building  carrying photographs of prisoners held in Azerbaijani prisons and  detained opposition members.

ArmInfo.  Today, October 27, marks the 26th anniversary of the terrorist attack in the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo.Back in 2021, the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) promised to remove Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan from power, and the political force will do  everything to fulfill its promise. Hayk Mamijanyan, head of the "With  Honor" faction, stated this in a conversation with journalists ahead  of a parliamentary hearing on the draft law "On the National Crisis  and Failure of Governance."

ArmInfo.In light of the latest hearing regarding the case of Archbishop Mikael Ajapahyan, Primate of the Shirak Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, a  group of citizens held a protest today, September 22, outside the  Armenian parliament and later in front of the National Security  Service. The  protest was also to express support for another  imprisoned clergyman, Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, leader of the  "Sacred Struggle" movement.

ArmInfo. Disregarding ownership rights and international courts obligations, Azerbaijan persistently pursues a policy of destroying the Motherland, hoping to deprive the  people of Artsakh  of the will to return. Sergey Shahverdyan, former  Minister of Culture of Artsakh, ,shared this viewpoint on his  Facebook page regarding the publication of a new satellite image of  the capital of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic as of May 2025 by Google  Earth. 

ArmInfo.  The Artsakh residents who have been holding a sit-in strike on Freedom Square since July 12 have moved their action to the government building.

ArmInfo.  Since yesterday, relatives of missing servicemen have continued their protest in front of the Armenian parliament building, blocking Baghramyan Street due  to the dismissal of the head of the National Security Service of  Armenia Armen Abazyan.

ArmInfo.  The RA NA President Alen Simonyan, being in Kazakhstan on an official visit, met with the Speaker of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Erlan Koshanov.

ArmInfo.  As a result of active investigative actions, many persons who took part in the riots of November 9, 2020 have been identified. This was stated on May 12 from the rostrum of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of  Armenia Artur Poghosyan, speaking about the progress of the  investigation of the criminal case on the attempt on the life of the  then Chairman of the National Assembly, and now the Minister of  Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan.

ArmInfo. The text of the peace treaty has already been agreed upon, marking a significant diplomatic achievement for Armenia. Chairman of the Commission on European  Integration Arman Yeghoyan made this statement in a conversation with  journalists at the Armenian parliament building on March 28, while  addressing Azerbaijan's new preconditions for Armenia to sign the  peace treaty.

ArmInfo.Former Prime Minister of Armenia Hrant Bagratyan, who was accused of calling for violence  against the current head of government Nikol Pashinyan, has been acquitted. Lawyer Hovhannes Kocharyan shared this information on a social network.

ArmInfo.The Azerbaijani administration has demolished another 2.5 hectares of residential buildings in occupied Stepanakert, adjacent to the previously  demolished 6 historical quarters.
