ArmInfo. The Armenian government adopted a draft law ratifying the Framework Agreement on  Strategic Partnership for the Implementation of TRIPP (Trump Route  for International Peace and Prosperity). This decision was approved  at a government meeting on July 16.

ArmInfo.  Key international players supported Artsakh's right to self-determination, but the government of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan effectively  rejected this approach and handed Artsakh over to Azerbaijan. This  was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the Armenian parliament  from the opposition "I Have the Honor" faction.

ArmInfo.  The potential risks and threats of the American presence on Iran's borders as part of the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) project  must be fully assessed. Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Khalil  Shirgolami stated this at a press conference in Yerevan on July 8.

ArmInfo. Armenia is currently not conducting any negotiations with Russia on the TRIPP project. Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan  stated this in a conversation with journalists on July 1.

ArmInfo. The November 9, 2020, ceasefire agreement did not grant the Russian peacekeepers any mandate, and the Armenian Prime Minister's actions on the Artsakh  issue have relegated these peacekeepers to the status of outside  observers. This was stated by Robert Kocharyan, the second president  of Armenia and leader of the "Armenia" bloc, on the Public Television  of Armenia.

ArmInfo. The American agenda in the South Caucasus has two main priorities: implementing the TRIPP project (the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity") and increasing pressure on Iran. This was stated by Americanist Suren Sargsyan, speaking about the upcoming visit of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Yerevan.

ArmInfo. Several Artsakh NGOs and public figures have called on Armenian authorities to cease the  illegal criminal prosecution and use of criminal instruments against Artur Osipyan, head of the Artsakh Revolutionary Party, ahead of Armenia's June parliamentary elections.

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's continued rule, even for the next 20 days, poses a threat to the country, as the enemy sees the psychological instability of the interim leader of the Armenian state. This was  stated by Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party, in  response to the Armenian prime minister's inappropriate behavior  during the election campaign in Yerevan's Arabkir district toward  Yerevan residents who dared to express dissatisfaction with  Pashinyan's policies.

ArmInfo. Avetik Chalabyan, coordinator of the "Hayakve" initiative, appealed to the Corruption Prevention Commission of Armenia demanding that it initiate a case against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for violating official  etiquette.

ArmInfo.  Artur Osipyan, head of the Artsakh Revolutionary Party, who engaged in a dispute with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, has been transferred to a pretrial detention center. Artsakh lawyer Roman Yeritsyan announced this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  A U.S. delegation led by Ambassador Ann Marie Yastishock, Senior Advisor for the Department of State's Bureau of Economics, Energy and Business Affairs, met with Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan to advance the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP), the U.S. Embassy in Armenia reports. 

ArmInfo. The prospects for launching the "Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity" (TRIPP) project are bleak amid the US-Iran conflict. Mikhail Kalugin,  Director of the Fourth CIS Department at the Russian Foreign  Ministry, stated this in an interview with TASS.

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a historic chance to preserve Artsakh's status as a political entity, but he squandered it due to his hatred of  previous leaders and his inability to make the right choice.

ArmInfo.  It's clear that, given Tehran's loss of trust in Washington, American participation in the transportation project on Iran's northern borders will be viewed  through the prism of potential security risks for the Iranian state.  This was stated by Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin in  an interview with Iravunk, regarding the prospects of opening a  transportation corridor in southern Armenia with Washington's  participation.
