ArmInfo. In Geneva, Deputy Minister of Justice of Armenia Anna Karapetyan brought to the attention of the UN Committee Against Torture  issues regarding the sham trials of Artsakh's  military-political leadership and other hostages held in Azerbaijani prisons.

Ruben Rubinyan pointed out the significance of the visa liberalization process for Armenian citizens.

ArmInfo. As part of his working visit to the Czech Republic, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia David Karapetyan had a meeting with Dana Kovarikova, the Director of the Diplomatic Academy of the MFA of the Czech Republic.

ArmInfo. A new criminal prosecution  has been launched against the former Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Colonel General Movses Hakobyan. According to  the indictment, due to Hakobyan's negligence, unsuitable military  equipment was delivered to Armenia from Russia 9 years ago. Also in  the dock is the former head of the Missile Troops and Artillery  Department of the Armed Forces, Major General Armen Harutyunyan. This  was reported to Public Television by the Prosecutor General's Office.

ArmInfo. The Armenian  power-lifting team was awarded a special cup for the best result at  the 2025 European Championship according to XPC (Xtreme Powerlifting  Coalition), which was held in Poland from March 26 to 30.

ArmInfo. Armenian Ambassador to Italy Vladimir Karapetyan, is currently on a working visit to Milan, where he met with members of Armenian business community in  the city.

ArmInfo. By the end of the year, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) will present a technical assistance package to the Armenian government for implementing a wastewater drainage and treatment system across the entirety of Lake Sevan's territory, as stated by the Bank's Senior Climate Change Expert, Vardan Karapetyan, speaking on the sidelines of the ADB seminar titled "Protecting Lake Sevan: Sustainable Solutions and Investment Strategies" on March 21.

ArmInfo. By decree of the country's president Vahagn Khachaturyan, the Armenian ambassador to Italy Vladimir Karapetyan has been appointed ambassador to San Marino  and Malta concurrently (residence - Rome). The corresponding decree  has been published on the website of the head of state.  

ArmInfo. The final session and closing ceremony of the Model UN conference, organized jointly with the UN Office in the country, were held at the Armenian MFA. The conference was dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of Armenia's accession to the UN and the Day of the RA Diplomat.

ArmInfo. Samvel Karapetyan, the President of the Association of Armenian Entrepreneurs and the Tashir Group of Companies, has urged the people of Armenia to support the Armenian prisoners currently detained in Baku prisons. "Today, the trial of the Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh who were detained in September 2023, including former presidents and civilians, as well as  a separate trial of Ruben Vardanyan, is commencing in Baku. It is  obvious to everyone - the international community, human rights  organizations, the Azerbaijani leadership, the families of the  detainees and the detainers themselves - that this trial is  demonstrative," Karapetyan said in his statement.
