ArmInfo. Armenia has the potential to remain a member of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) while simultaneously participating in the European Economic Area (EEA), according to Vahan Babayan, leader of the "Reformists" party, in a recent Facebook post.

ArmInfo.Arman Davtyan,  the director of the Yerevan Ararat Brandy, Wine, and Vodka Factory  has been detained. The press service of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Armenia informed ArmInfo of this development. 

ArmInfo.  A protest is taking place outside the Arinj Mall shopping center, owned by the arrested leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), Gagik Tsarukyan. Law enforcement officers have sealed off some of the mall's pavilions.

ArmInfo.Today, the Institute of China and Modern Contemporary Asia (ICSA) of the Russian Academy of Sciences hosted an international roundtable discussion, "Critical Infrastructure of the Greater Caucasus in the Context of Geoeconomic  Competition." ArmInfo.  Relatives of missing servicemen held a protest outside the Armenian government building.  They announced that they are giving the Armenian authorities exactly  one week to obtain at least some information about their relatives.  If they remain silent, they will take action independently, seek  other channels of communication to advance the issue, and even march  to the Hakari Bridge.

ArmInfo. Lilit Galstian, an MP from the opposition Armenia faction and a member of the Armenian delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, has sharply criticized the selective application of international law and the international community's inaction regarding Azerbaijan's aggression against  Artsakh.

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia has completed the design of new biometric identification cards (ID cards), which, along with next-generation  biometric passports, are scheduled to be introduced in the fall of 2026.

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia (MOESCS) announces with deep sorrow that Raisa Mkrtchyan, an outstanding representative of Armenian pop art and People's Artist of the Republic of Armenia, passed away on June 27 at the age of 83.

The Court of Cassation of Armenia has refused to accept a complaint filed by Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan regarding a case involving the  detention of clergy from the Aragatsotn Diocese of the Armenian  Apostolic Church (AAC), obstruction of lawyers' activities, and   concealment of the detention of the head of the diocese, Bishop  Mkrtich Proshyan.
