ArmInfo.  The 23rd Yerevan International Film Festival "Golden Apricot" will present several iconic films from world and Armenian cinema in special screenings and  newly restored versions.

ArmInfo. Veronika Zonabend, the wife of Ruben Vardanyan, has announced a new humanitarian initiative aimed at restoring contact between Armenian detainees held in Azerbaijan and their families. he full text is provided below:

ArmInfo. Early in the morning of June 12, law enforcement officers raided the apartment of Mother Armenia party board member Aregnaz Manukyan. This became known after Manukyan posted a video of the search on her Facebook page.

ArmInfo. There is no political element in the case involving Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), as stated by Eduard Hakobyan, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), to reporters at the Armenian parliament on June 11.

ArmInfo. Both Armenia and Azerbaijan face issues related to missing persons, and these matters must be resolved through mutual cooperation, as stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan  during a press-briefing on June 11. He also noted that such cooperation not only institutionalizes peace  but also closes a painful chapter in the conflict.

ArmInfo. As a result of abnormally heavy rains and hail that fell in Gyumri on the night of June 10, traffic in the city was paralyzed.

ArmInfo. The European Union manually controlled the parliamentary elections in Armenia, as stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova during a weekly briefing on June 10.

ArmInfo.  From May 30 to June 1, the Children's Book Festival will be held in the English Park in Yerevan. The festival is supported by the Yerevan Municipality and the RA Ministry  of Education, Science, and Technology. Over the course of three days,  children will enjoy entertainment filled with adventures, games, and  new discoveries.

ArmInfo. Brazilian football legend Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, known worldwide as Ronaldinho, has arrived in Yerevan as part of the MAC Affiliate  Conference Yerevan 2026 (iGaming and affiliate marketing) conference currently underway in the Armenian capital.  

ArmInfo.Serj Tankian, frontman of the iconic rock band System of a Down (SOAD), has denied Armenian  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's earlier announcement of the band's concert in Yerevan.

People are choosing to walk more, work from open-air cafés, meet friends outdoors, or simply pause for a few minutes to enjoy their favorite iced latte. One of the season’s most beloved little rituals has become iced coffee, an essential part of morning energy, afternoon breaks, and evening strolls.

ArmInfo.  A new report by the International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) found that the trials of Artsakh leaders in Baku "fell short of the guarantees of fairness and equality of arms required under international human rights law".

ArmInfo.  Icelandic sculptor Rosa Gisladottir's solo exhibition, "Mirror of Time," opened at the Hay Art Center for Contemporary Art. Twenty three works by the artist are on display at the capital's cultural space.

ArmInfo.  Icons were removed from the Armenian Apostolic Church church in the Marda settlement of Akhaltsikhe and placed next to a trash bin. According to Georgia-Online, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has  launched an investigation under Article 155 of the Criminal Code -  illegal obstruction of a religious ceremony.

ArmInfo. Armenia will celebrate International Museum Day on May 18th, and the pan-European "Night of Museums" event will take place on May 16th, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport.

ArmInfo. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and International Criminal Court President Tomoko Akane exchanged views on cooperation between Armenia and the  ICC at a meeting in Yerevan.

ArmInfo. Armenia is interested in implementing joint training programs with the International Criminal Court. This was stated by RA Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan during a meeting with ICC President Tomoko Akane.

ArmInfo. The 8th European Political Community Summit begins in Yerevan.

ArmInfo.  Current "blue passports" of citizens of the Republic of Armenia will remain valid until their expiration date. This was announced on her Facebook page by Nelly Davtyan, Head of the Migration and Citizenship Service of  the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

ArmInfo. The Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall will host the final gala concert of the Francophonie Bimonthly Festival, featuring the State Chamber  Orchestra of Armenia.
