ArmInfo.Today, the Institute of China and Modern Contemporary Asia (ICSA) of the Russian Academy of Sciences hosted an international roundtable discussion, "Critical Infrastructure of the Greater Caucasus in the Context of Geoeconomic  Competition." ArmInfo. The "3+3" regional platform is a vital mechanism for regional cooperation, and Azerbaijan is ready to host its next meeting, as stated by  Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a press conference, following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow  on July 17.

Russia consistently supports the efforts of Azerbaijan and Armenia aimed at the full and comprehensive normalization of relations, as stated by  Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov  at a press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, following  their talks in Moscow.

ArmInfo.  Georgia has special relations with three neighboring countries - Armenia, Azerbaijan, and  Turkey - and these relations are deepening. According to media  reports, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated this on the  Imedi Live program on the Imedi TV channel.

ArmInfo.Russian-American investor Konstantin Sokolov has been appointed Chairman of the TRIPP+ Enterprise Fund, a new fund designed to finance infrastructure projects in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Central Asian countries.

ArmInfo. The Armenian government adopted a draft law ratifying the Framework Agreement on  Strategic Partnership for the Implementation of TRIPP (Trump Route  for International Peace and Prosperity). This decision was approved  at a government meeting on July 16.

ArmInfo.  Russia is ready to provide the requested assistance in the full normalization of  relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, including on the conclusion  of a peace treaty, border delimitation, and the unblocking of  communications. This was stated in a statement by the Russian Foreign  Ministry in connection with the upcoming official visit to Moscow of  Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and scheduled talks with  his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov. 

ArmInfo.The Russian Federation fully supports the approach of keeping the "3+3" international platform—which includes Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Iran, and Turkey—free from politicization, as stated by Maria Zakharova,  official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Konstantin Sokolov, a Russian-born private equity investor in Chicago, will serve as chairman of a new state department enterprise fund  overseeing more than $200m designated for a central Asia trade  corridor, including investments in transportation, energy  infrastructure and critical minerals, as reported by the Guardian,  noting that the state department confirmed his appointment on Friday.

ArmInfo.On July 9, 2026, Narine Matosyan, the Consul General of the Republic of Armenia in Batumi, held a farewell meeting with Revaz Nadaraya, Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Georgia, marking the conclusion of her  diplomatic tenure.

The European Union is discussing with the governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan how it can  best support the development of regional transport and connectivity  routes in the South Caucasus, as stated by Magdalena Grono, the EU  Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in  Georgia, at a briefing for journalists in Yerevan. She was speaking  about the security situation in the South Caucasus and the peace  process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

ArmInfo.  Both Moscow and Brussels will expect action, not empty words, from Armenian Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The future government of the Civil Contract  party, which has lost its legitimacy and is holding on to power with  the support of the West and Turkey, will depend on this.
