ArmInfo.  The growing influence of the EU, US, and Turkey on the Caucasus countries will create an even greater source of tension in the region, as stated by Valery Semerikov, Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security  Treaty Organization (CSTO, ) at the 19th meeting of the heads of the  leading units of the CIS anti-terrorism structures and the heads of  the national structures of the Commonwealth countries coordinating  the fight against terrorism and extremism.

ArmInfo.The Council today appointed Cosmin George Dinescu as Head of Mission for the newly established European Union Partnership Mission in Armenia (EUPM Armenia) for an initial mandate of one year, starting on 11 June  2026. The decision was taken by the EU's Political and Security  Committee.

ArmInfo.  The Akanates Election Observation Mission has declared Armenia's recent parliamentary elections to be politically competitive, characterized  by active voter participation and a generally peaceful voting  process.
