ArmInfo. German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Armenian Minister of Environment Hakob Simidyan ceremoniously launched the work of a modern meteorological station installed on the shore of Lake Sevan.

Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II, at a meeting with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, asked the latter to raise the issue of Armenian prisoners  of war held in Azerbaijani prisons during his visit to Baku. This was  reported by the press office of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his wife Anna Hakobyan hosted German President  Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his wife, Elke Budenbender, who are in Armenia on an official visit.  As reported by the press service of the RA government, the Prime Minister of Armenia and the President of Germany held a meeting in an expanded format. Anna Hakobyan and Elke Budenbender also had a private meeting.

ArmInfo. German President Frank-Walter  Steinmeier and his wife Elke Budenbender will visit Armenia and  Azerbaijan from March 30 to April 2. According to the press service  of the German President, this will be Steinmeier's first visit to  these countries since taking office.

After the welcoming ceremony, Prime Minister Pashinyan and Mrs. Hakobyan made a note in the book of honored guests, then the Prime Minister had a private conversation with the President of Germany, and Mrs. Hakobyan with Elke Budenbender.

ArmInfo. UEFA is looking for a solution to enable Russian sports commentator Nobel Arustamyan to carry out his professional coverage of the 2020 UEFA European  Football Championship. This was announced by the official  representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian  Federation Maria Zakharova, referring to the issue of accreditation  of the Russian commentator at the World Cup. Accreditation of the  commentator was blocked in Baku.
