ArmInfo. The third and final stage of the "Armenia Elects" television debates will take place tonight at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex. The debate will feature the leaders of the political forces that  accepted the invitation:

ArmInfo. As part of ongoing criminal proceedings initiated by the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, a criminal case has been launched against 37 individuals for assisting A.A. (Ed.: Alik Aleksanyan, a board  member of the "Strong Armenia" party) in financially inciting  numerous citizens to participate in rallies during 2025–2026, as well  as for large-scale money laundering. This was reported by the  Investigative Committee.

ArmInfo. Former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, leader of the "Armenia" alliance, has acknowledged that his political bloc is approaching the upcoming parliamentary elections backed by a clear awareness of past mistakes alongside its record of past achievements. Kocharyan made the remarks in a video address published on his Facebook page ahead of the  national elections scheduled for June 7, 2026. 

ArmInfo. Europe stands in solidarity with Armenia in the face of the economic coercion by Russia, as stated by EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Koss in her post on X.

ArmInfo. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a phone conversation with Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.  According to the government's press service, The interlocutors discussed issues related to  responding to the economic challenges facing Armenia and further  developing bilateral cooperation.

ArmInfo.  Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan has not ruled out the possibility that Armenian citizens arriving from Russia to participate in the upcoming elections could be served summonses for mandatory military training camps.

ArmInfo. A delegation from the observation mission of the International Organization of La Francophonie (IOF), led by head of delegation Philippe Courard, visited the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia on June 4.

ArmInfo. In accordance with an invitation extended to the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly (IPA CIS) by the President of the National Assembly of Armenia, Alen Simonyan, a group of international observers from the IPA CIS will monitor the upcoming parliamentary elections in the republic,  scheduled for June 7. This was stated in a press release issued by  the IPA CIS press service and received by ArmInfo. Zhakip Asanov,  Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of  Kazakhstan, has been appointed as the coordinator of the observer  group.

ArmInfo.   Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was found guilty and convicted across three Armenian court instances for the events of March 1, 2008, before being acquitted under strange circumstances by a ruling from the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR).  Robert Kocharyan, the second president of Armenia and the prime ministerial candidate from the  Armenia bloc, made this statement during interview with Armenia TV  channel.

ArmInfo. Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia party, will not participate in the debate of top party candidates organized tonight by Public  Television, as announced by Gagik Tsarukyan's press secretary, Iveta  Tonoyan, on her Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Armenia's membership in the CSTO has allowed the country to procure weapons at below-market rates, as stated by Robert Kocharyan, the second president of Armenia and the prime ministerial candidate from the  Armenia bloc, in an interview with Armenia TV.

ArmInfo. Armenian authorities are moving toward rigging the country's parliamentary elections, as stated by lawyer Hovhannes Khudoyan at a press conference in Yerevan on June 4.

ArmInfo.The current Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, bears personal responsibility for attacks  on opposition members, as stated by Edmon Marukyan, Bright Armenia Party leader, during a rally outside the government building on June 4.

ArmInfo. Russia does not intend to foot the bill for Armenia's integration into the European Union, as stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova during a weekly briefing on May 4, held on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

ArmInfo.Nikol Pashinyan's ruling "Civil Contract" party has turned and continues to turn the 25-day military training for reservists into a tool of punishment. This was written by Gegham Manukyan, a member of the Armenian parliament from the opposition "Armenia" faction, on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Searches are being conducted at the ARF Dashnaktsutyun (ARF) office in Gyumri and the  apartments of "Armenia" bloc associates. This was reported on Facebook by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of the ARF Supreme Body and a member of the "Armenia" bloc.

ArmInfo. Russia will not provide support to Yerevan within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), nor under bilateral agreements, if the country decides to continue its rapprochement with the European Union. Further decisions will depend, among other things, on the outcome of the elections in Armenia, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk told Interfax.
