ArmInfo.  Hayk Mamijanyan, former deputy of the RA National Assembly,  has announced that he will attend the Etchmiadzin court on August 7 at 4:00 PM,  where a hearing is scheduled for the case of the Catholicos of All  Armenians.  In a statement on his Facebook page, Mamijanyan called  the current situation a national disgrace, for which RA Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan is responsible.

ArmInfo. Arayik Harutyunyan, a representative of Armenia's ruling Civil Contract party, has been relieved of his duties as Chief of Staff to the RA  Prime Minister. The decision was signed by RA Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan. According to the government's press service, the  administrative changes also included the dismissal of Deputy Chief of  Staff Taron Chakhoyan and Press Secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

Member of the European Parliament Marina Mezure has sent a written request to the European Commission demanding that it ensure the right of forcibly displaced Armenians to safe and unimpeded return to Artsakh, based on  the binding ruling of the International Court of Justice of the  United Nations of November 17, 2023, as stated in a post on the  Artsakh Union's Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Armenia has driven itself into an artificial choice between the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the European Union (EU), which is currently being imposed by the West and Russia. This opinion was expressed in a new message published on his Facebook page by Gagik Tsarukyan, the imprisoned leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP). 

ArmInfo.The first preliminary court hearing in the criminal case against Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II is scheduled for 4:00 PM on August 7 and  will take place in Etchmiadzin (15 St. Gregory the Illuminator  Street, Courtroom 1). Lawyer Ara Zohrabyan announced this on his  Facebook page.

ArmInfo. Narek Karapetyan, a member of the political council of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, has not ruled out the possibility that he may become the head of their parliamentary faction. He made this statement on July 24 when  speaking to reporters.

ArmInfo. The current government in Armenia, through its actions, including against Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) leader Gagik Tsarukyan, is seeking to demonstrate that they operate without constrains  from the law,  public interest, or the principles of justice, as stated by PAP  representative Elinar Vardanyan  to journalists on July 24 outside  the Investigative Department of the State Revenue Committee of  Armenia, where Tsarukyan is undergoing  another interrogation.

ArmInfo. A critical Israeli parliamentary vote on recognizing the violence against Armenians by the Ottoman Empire during World War I as a genocide has  been suspended, as reported by JNS, citing an Israeli official familiar with the situation.

ArmInfo.  The Investigative Committee received instructions to "fabricate" a case against Mother Armenia party board member Aregnaz Manukyan and has carried out the order. This was stated in a statement by Mother Armenia party leader Andranik Tevanyan, who is incarcerated at the Yerevan-Kentron  Penitentiary, published on the party's Facebook page.

Both domestic and  foreign policy have been destroyed, state institutions have been  undermined, and law and justice have been devalued, says Artsakh  National Assembly MP Metaxe Hakobyan.

ArmInfo. OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu has reportedly pledged to assist Armenian authorities in removing Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.  This promise was made during a telephone conversation that he believed was with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

ArmInfo. The unlawful actions of the Armenian authorities are continue, as stated by Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party, to journalists on  July 7.  He was  commenting on the criminal prosecution of businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia party.

ArmInfo.Lawyer Vahan Hovhannisyan has announced that he has filed a formal request with the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Armenia for delisting from Samvel Karapetyan's "Strong Armenia" bloc.

ArmInfo.The Armenian public expects the Constitutional Court to uphold the interests of the people and democratic principles. This was stated on Facebook by Anush Mirzoyan, a member of the "Strong Armenia" bloc, as the Court  held its final hearing on July 1 regarding the challenge to the  parliamentary election results, after which the High Court is set to  deliberate on its final verdict.
