ArmInfo.October 19, 2018 - The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank has provided a USD 15 million loan to Ardshinbank, Armenia to help finance small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the country.  The facility has a maturity period of 5 years, which will enable Ardshinbank to offer the much-needed medium-term financing for SMEs capital expenditures and working capital needs. The facility is expected to serve up to 100 SME clients while supporting around 3600 jobs in Armenia.

ArmInfo. Mortgage lending, consumer lending and SME financing will be priority areas for the retail business in 2019 for Ameriabank. Director of retail business  of Ameriabank Arman Barseghyan said this when answering a question  from ArmInfo during an online press conference held on October 17.

ArmInfo. Ameriabank has announced two campaigns conducted by the end of 2018 for small and medium-sized businesses. As Arman Barseghyan, Director of Retail  Banking of Ameriabank, explained, within the framework of these  campaigns, SME representatives are offered more favorable conditions  for refinancing loans. He said this during an online press conference  held on October 17.

On October 15,  during his speech at the meeting of foreign ministers of the Eastern  Partnership countries, Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan  said.

ArmInfo.Ameriabank and the Dutch Development Bank (FMO) signed a loan agreement for 40 million euros to finance projects in the areas of renewable energy and energy  conservation, and to promote the activities of young entrepreneurs  and a businesswoman. As ArmInfo explained to the press service of  Ameriabank, under this agreement, the loan will be issued to  borrowers with a maturity of 5 years.

ArmInfo.VTB Bank (Armenia), taking into account the importance of developing and stimulating small business in the country, starts active lending to SMEs. As  ArmInfo was told in the press service of the Bank, from now on, it is  possible to get a loan from VTB (Armenia) to start a new business or  develop an already existing business on the most favorable terms.

ArmInfo. ACBA Leasing will place  $ 4 million out of $ 17 million provided by the European Bank for  Reconstruction and Development to the ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank in  energy efficiency projects. As ArmInfo explained in the leasing  company, the purpose of financing is to provide SMEs with the  opportunity to purchase energy-efficient and energy-saving equipment  in leasing.

ArmInfo. ACBA-Credit Agricole  Bank has concluded a loan agreement with EBRD for $ 17 million to  provide financial assistance to small and medium-sized businesses.  ArmInfo was told in the press service of the ACBA-Credit Agricole  Bank that within the framework of this agreement SME financing will  mainly be carried out in drams.

ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank was recognized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as the most active issuing bank in Armenia in 2017 under the Trade Facilitation Program (TFP) for the results of 2017.  As the press service of the ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank told ArmInfo,  this award was awarded based on the results of activities in this  area, namely, the volume of trade finance operations conducted in  2017.

ArmInfo.The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Ameriabank CJSC signed an agreement on acquisition of a $ 30 million equity participation to strengthen the Armenian banking sector and expand access to financial services in the country. The  contract was signed by the director of the Armenian office of ADB  Shane Rosenthal and the chairman of the Board of Directors of  Ameriabank Andrey Mkrtchyan at the official ceremony in Yerevan.

ArmInfo.The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and Ameriabank signed a $ 30 million loan agreement for financial assistance to SME development in Armenia. The funds are provided for a period of 4 years.

ArmInfo. The Development Bank of the Netherlands (FMO) and ARARATBANK signed a loan agreement for $ 20 million. The press service of the Bank reports that the funds will be used to lend to SMEs, women entrepreneurs and to finance business  programs for young businessmen under the age of 35, in parallel with their retail lending.

ArmInfo.Ameriabank announces, that it has signed a USD 11.5 million senior loan  agreement with Symbiotics' Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises Bond issuance program, with a possibility to increase the amount by an additional USD 10 million in hard or local currency.  The loan facility is aimed at financing micro, small or medium enterprise clients of Ameriabank.
