ArmInfo. The Heritage Party  decided to approve the appointment of its founder, Raffi K.  Hovhannisyan, as the Mayor of the Armenian capital in the early  elections scheduled for September 23. The corresponding decision was  made today at the executive meeting of the party's board.

ArmInfo. The criminal prosecution against David Sanasaryan (now the head of the State Control Service) and Armen Martirosyan (the chairman of the board of the Heritage party) is terminated. The press service of the Special Investigation  Service reported.

The deputy chairman of the Heritage party Armen Martirosyan expressed such an opinion to ArmInfo, commenting on the initiative of the Yelk faction on Armenia's withdrawal from the Eurasian Union.

This was in the conversation with journalists at a reception timed to the 15th anniversary of the  Heritage Party, its leader Rafia Hovhannisyan stated.  He stressed  that Armenia is "monopolized" by the Republican Party, or more  precisely, by its leader Serzh Sargsyan. "The process of sergeisation  is in full swing in Armenia," Hovhannisyan said, adding that the RPA  presented the "controlling stake" to the republic to foreign powers.

ArmInfo.Raffi Hovhannisyan was again elected as chairman at the 11th congress of the Heritage party. Armen Martirosyan became the deputy chairman of the party. Speaking at the party congress, Hovhannisyan stated, in particular: "We will  never kneel, we do not have time to give up." According to  Hovhannisyan, there is an opportunity to unite efforts, and create a  new Armenia.

Mikael Minasyan, the Armenian Ambassador to Vatican, and the son-in-law of the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, called the lawmaker of Yelk bloc Nikol  Pashinyan and deputy chairman of Heritage Party Armen Martirosyan to  stop recalling his name during political demolitions, he wrote in his  Facebook page.  In his message to politicians he noted that for the  first time he has to come up with public statement, which is not  related to his direct obligations, to call them  stop meaningless and  inappropriate discussion, where his name is being  recalled all the  time.

ArmInfo. Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian Bloc is not oriented with participation in Council of Elders of Yerevan elections, which are scheduled on May 15th. On April 5, the  deputy chairman of the Heritage party and ORO pre-electoral bloc  member Armen Martisrosyan stated in Yerevan during a press  conference.  According to him there is no point in participating  these elections after the parliamentary one, according to him, it was  not the opposition who lost, but Armenian nation.

ArmInfo. New Parliament and Armenian authorities are not legitimate and are not  able to conduct any reforms, Armen Martirosyan, Deputy Chairman of  Heritage party and the member of Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian bloc stated  during the press-conference held in Yerevan on April 5.

ArmInfo.The Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian (ORO) bloc reports that it has received alarms from the citizens, who say that along with large-scale electoral bribery, the ballot-riggers from the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) are distributing  identification signs among the venal voters - numbered papers, color  threads, transparent stickers, and demand leaving them in the  envelopes.         

ArmInfo."A couple of days ago the list of political prisoners was enlarged by  the hero of Artsakh Samvel Babayan and we demand freedom for him, we  demand freedom for all the political prisoners. "ORO" bloc in case of  victory in the elections intends to release all political prisoners  in Armenia," Martirosyan.
