ArmInfo.  Equating the return of Armenians to Artsakh after forced displacement with the so-called return of Azerbaijanis to Armenia was the most serious mistake made by the current government. Former Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan stated this in a video posted on his Facebook page, amid Azerbaijan's active promotion of the idea of resettling Azerbaijanis in Armenia.

ArmInfo. In fact, what is not permitted for Armenians is encouraged for Azerbaijanis. This is what Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the National Assembly of the Republic  of Armenia from the opposition "I Have the Honor" faction, wrote on  his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  The adoption of a new Constitution of Armenia has been on our agenda since 2019 and will remain there. Artur Hovhannisyan, secretary of the ruling Civil  Contract faction, stated this during a briefing in the Armenian  parliament, when asked whether it was true that some within the  political party were dissatisfied with not having secured a  constitutional majority.

ArmInfo.  Congressional Armenian Caucus Co- Chair Rep. Frank Pallone Jr. (D-NJ) has introduced an amendment to H.R. 8800 - the National Defense Authorization Act for  FY27 - that would block the President from exercising Section 907  waiver authority until Azerbaijan takes demonstrable and verifiable  steps toward meeting concrete accountability conditions.  

ArmInfo.  It is of vital importance that the momentum of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not lost following the recent elections. This was  stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on June 17 during the  government's Q&A session in the National Assembly, in response to a  question from ruling party MP Maria Karapetyan.

ArmInfo. While  Nikol Pashinyan continues to assure the public of ongoing peace efforts  with Azerbaijan and highlights domestic improvements like pension  increases, Baku is actively pushing forward its "Western Azerbaijan"  project, which refers to the resettlement of Azerbaijanis in the  sovereign territories of Armenia. Political analyst Karen Igityan  warns of this on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  The situation in the South Caucasus and the Baku -Yerevan peace process  were on the agenda of the talks between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov  and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Moscow. Fidan  announced  this at a press conference following the Moscow talks.

The vote of the Armenian people, for the third  time, values your leadership and recognizes the courage with which  you have faced challenges of exceptional complexity.

ArmInfo. The observation mission "Akanates" ("Eyewitness") considers the Central Electoral Commission's (CEC) assessment that the annulment of voting results at three polling stations did not affect the election results highly questionable and considers the decision not to call repeat elections problematic.
