ArmInfo.  The "Strong Armenia" party is prepared for any scenario, according to a statement posted on Facebook by the party's spokesperson, Marianna Ghahramanyan. Her remarks come in response to the pro-Western Republic Party, led by  Aram Sargsyan, submitting an application to the Central Electoral  Commission (CEC) demanding the annulment of Samvel Karapetyan's  "Strong Armenia" bloc registration for the country's upcoming  parliamentary elections on June 7.

ArmInfo. A presentation of a new book by French-Armenian historian and genocide scholar Raymond Kevorkian, "Ending the Genocide: Mustafa Kemal and the Extermination of Armenian and Greek Survivors (1918-1922)," will take place in  Yerevan. The book will be presented on June 6 at 3:00 PM in the AGBU  conference hall.

ArmInfo. Six hundred applications from Artsakh residents have already been filed with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to protect their property seized by Azerbaijan as a result of the occupation of Artsakh. This was announced on his Facebook page by Artak Beglaryan, head of the Artsakh Union public organization and former State Minister of Artsakh and the Nagorno- Karabakh Republic.

ArmInfo. Supporters of Samvel Karapetyan's "Strong Armenia" party have launched a pre-election march under the banner "On the Path to Change." Departing from the Mergelyan Research Institute, the demonstrators are heading toward Republic Square, where the party is scheduled to host a major campaign rally this evening at 7:00 PM.

ArmInfo.International law expert and attorney Ara Ghazaryan called on Artsakh residents to complete a form to file an application to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to protect their property seized by Azerbaijan in occupied Artsakh.

ArmInfo. Public figure Gegham  Ohanyan has begun an indefinite, 24-hour sit-in in the area adjacent  to the Armenian presidential residence on Baghramyan Street in  defense of Artsakh resident Artur Osipyan, who was arrested after an  argument with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

ArmInfo.  As of 3:00 PM, the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received a letter addressed to the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration. ArmInfo.  During the campaign period ahead of the upcoming elections to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, scheduled for June 7, 2026, the Prosecutor General's Office has launched a direct public hotline at  (010) 511-527. The hotline is designed to receive information on  alleged criminal offenses obstructing the electoral process during  the campaign, on the eve of the election, and on election day itself,  as well as to ensure direct communication with the public and address  urgent matters raised by election participants.

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia reminds citizens that applications to be temporarily removed from the voter registry at one's place of registration and added to the voter list at one's  actual place of residence will be accepted until May 26 at 2:00 PM.

ArmInfo.Armenian law enforcement authorities have detained Andranik Tevanyan, the leader of the "Mother Armenia" party and the second candidate on the  electoral list of the "Prosperous Armenia" party. The detention was reported by "Mother Armenia" party member Derenik Malkhasyan via his Facebook page, where he shared footage of the incident. The video shows masked officers from the National Security Service (NSS) handcuffing Tevanyan and driving him away.

ArmInfo. As part of a heightened security response in connection with the Last Bell celebrations held across the country, the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs impounded approximately 130 vehicles, 66 of which were driven by minors.

ArmInfo.  Armenian National Security Service officers and masked individuals have been conducting searches at the Mother Armenia party office at 20 Mashtots Street since early morning. Iveta Tonoyan, the press secretary of the Prosperous Armenia party, reported this on her Facebook page.
