ArmInfo. Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Hrachya Sargsyan believes that  Armenia and Russia will not go to court on the issue of Moscow's failure to fulfill its obligations under the arms contract.

Hayk Sargsyan, a member of the National Assembly of Armenia from the ruling Civil  Contract faction, has developed a bill allowing evaders of military service aged 27 to 37 to avoid criminal prosecution by serving in the army or by transferring money to the state budget. The Standing  Commttee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia issued a positive conclusion on the amendments submitted by the MP to the law "On military service and the status of  military personnel".

ArmInfo. A little while ago, Davit Sargsyan, a journalist of "168 Zham" (168.am) was arrested after being illegally held in the investigative body for about 6 hours, i.e, arrest without a warrant. According to the report of the Investigative Committee, Davit Sargsyan was arrested on suspicion of committing hooliganism.

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, within its powers, is taking  steps to avoid destabilization of  the situation in the region and not to have any negative impact on the overall situation. Deputy Defense Minister Arman Sargsyan stated to journalists on September 11  at the National Assembly of Armenia.
