ArmInfo. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan had a telephone conversation with Assistant to the President - Secretary of the  Security Council of Kazakhstan Gabit Bayzhanov. This was reported in  the press service of the Security Council of Armenia.  Grigoryan and  Bayzhanov exchanged views on the situation in Karaganda, in which  Armenians were also involved. Grigoryan expressed condolences to the  relatives and friends of the deceased young man.

ArmInfo. Considering events in the Kazakh city of Karaganda as an inter-ethnic conflict is unacceptable. The Ombudsman for Human Rights of Kazakhstan, Askar  Shakirov stated yesterday during a telephone conversation with Human  Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan.  According to the office of  the Ombudsman of Armenia, Askar Shakirov assured Arman Tatoyan that  there can be no talk of discriminatory attitudes towards Armenians by  nationality. The Ombudsman of Kazakhstan said that this issue was  under his immediate attention.
