Azerbaijan continues destroying Armenians` property 

ArmInfo. Participants of the action in support of Artsakh, organized by the representatives of the  NKR operational headquarters in Armenia marched from the UN Yerevan office, to the Russian Embassy in Armenia.

ArmInfo.Russian expert, Professor Evgeny Satanovsky has expressed his opinion on the future  of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians in the context of present-day Turkish- Azerbaijani relations. 

ArmInfo.The Armenian authorities are persistently putting forward the argument that  Armenia's security problems can be solved only through surrender of Artsakh, Andranik Tevanyan, Coordinator of the Mother Armenia movement, wrote on his Facebook aaccount.

Over 470 European NGOs addressed letters to the leaders of the EU and Council of Europe,  calling for immediate and effective steps to end the Artsakh blockade by Azerbaijan. Below is the letter reading:  Honorable Presidents of the European Council, European Commission,  European Parliament, and EU High Representative/VP, Distinguished Heads of Member States, Heads of Government and  Parliaments of the Member States of the European Union and Council of  Europe,

ArmInfo. From now on, taking into account the justified demand of our people and our further steps, the Russian peacekeepers have committed to transmit information to the Russian Federation on a daily basis and have committed to admit that they have work to immediately resolve the situation and eliminate the humanitarian crisis. This was announced today, on July 14, after a meeting with the commander of the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation Alexander Lentsov, the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh Gurgen Nersisyan told the protesters.

ArmInfo. President of the Republic of Artsakh, Arayik Harutyunyan, has taken decisive action by sending letters to heads of all UN Security Council member states, the UN Secretary General, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, the President of the European Council, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, as well as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, urging them to fulfill their international obligations and promptly implement effective measures to halt the illegal and complete blockade imposed on Artsakh by Azerbaijan, and to put an end to the systematic mass crimes and acts of terrorism against the people of Artsakh.

ArmInfo. State Minister of Artsakh Gurgen Nersisyan helda meting with the command of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Artsakh. He promised to inform the public of the results.

ArmInfo. The participants of  the nationwide movement for the sake of Artsakh salvation, headed by  the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh Gurgen Nersisyan,  marched to the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross  (ICRC) and the place of deployment of the Russian peacekeeping  contingent (RPC) to present the real situation in the country and  their requests and demands for the lifting of a blockade of Artsakh.

ArmInfo. The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out tasks in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. This is stated in the press release of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for July 12.

ArmInfo. On 11 July, the Azerbaijani side once again blocked the movement of the ICRC vehicles through the illegally established checkpoint in the Lachin Corridor, thereby grossly violating both the norms of international humanitarian law and Azerbaijan's own obligations under the Trilateral Statement of 9 November 2020 and the ICJ orders of 22 February and 6 July 2023. The fact that Azerbaijan justifies this unlawful and inhumane act by alleging the transportation of "unauthorised items" such as mobile phones, cigarettes and fuel on ICRC vehicles only proves the ongoing transport, food and energy blockade of Artsakh and the acute shortage of essential goods, as well as Baku's hostile and inhumane attitude towards the people of Artsakh. This is stated in the statement of the Foreign Ministry of Artsakh.

ArmInfo. The United States is deeply concerned about Azerbaijan's continued closure of the Lachin corridor. This is stated in the statement of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia, the RFE/RL's Armenian servic reports.

ArmInfo. The message of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that on July 11, from 10:05 a.m. to 2:55 p.m., engineering work was  carried out by a unit of the Artsakh Defense Army in Askeran,  Karvachar regions of the Republic of Artsakh, which was allegedly  suspended by Azerbaijani units deployed in the occupied territories  of these regions, is another misinformation. This is stated in the  statement of the NKR Defense Army.

ArmInfo. This morning, at the  illegally installed checkpoint over the Hakari Bridge in the Lachin  corridor, the Azerbaijani side again blocked the entry of the  vehicles transporting patients and their accompanying people to  Artsakh, as well as the already limited amount of medicines  transported from Armenia to Artsakh by the International Committee of  the Red Cross (ICRC). This time Azerbaijan used the false pretext of  "smuggling". This is stated in the statement of the Human Rights  Defender of the Republic of Artsakh.

The message by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan that on July 10, units of the Artsakh Defense Army repeatedly violated the ceasefire by opening fire in the direction of Azerbaijani positions located in the occupied territories of the Askeran and Martuni regions is false, reads a statement by the Nagorno-Karabakh defense army.

ArmInfo. Faced with existential problems, Artsakh is also under additional psychological pressure, which, strange enough, is coming from Armenia, reads a statement by the Artsakh Security and Development Fund.

ArmInfo. The Federal Republic of Germany is aware of the difficult geopolitical situation that has developed in this region and in Nagorno-Karabakh. Jens Brandenburg, State Secretary of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, stated in response to a question from an ArmInfo correspondent whether official Berlin is considering the possibility of assisting in restoring the rights of Artsakh students to receive education, which is being violated due to the Azerbaijani blockade of the Kashatagh (Lachin) corridor. It should be noted that at a meeting with him this issue was also raised by head of the MESCS Zhanna Andreasyan.
