On February 11, the Chair of the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Territorial and Eurasian Integration Mikayel Melkumyan met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Armenia Timur  Urazayev, the press service of the Armenian parliament informs.

ArmInfo.Today, on February 7, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia, Timur Urazayev, met with the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly of Armenia on Foreign Relations Ruben Rubinyan.During the meeting,  issues of cooperation between the legislative bodies of the two  states were discussed, including the activities of parliamentary  friendship groups, as well as interaction within the framework of  inter-parliamentary organizations (IPA CIS, CSTO PA, OSCE PA, PACE).

ArmInfo.Deputies of the Senate (upper house) of the Parliament of Kazakhstan at a plenary session on Thursday reviewed and approved the ratification of the  protocol on amending the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May  29, 2014, the RIA Novosti correspondent reports.

ArmInfo. The interaction of Kazakhstan and Armenia in the framework of Eurasian integration contributes to the development of bilateral economic relations, Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova announced on January 22 at the meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the Republic of Kazakhstan Gagik Ghalachyan,.

ArmInfo.In the incident that occurred in Kazakhstan, there is no political connotation, it is just an ordinary New Year's fight, in which the Armenians participated.  The director of the Caucasus Institute, Alexander Iskandaryan, stated  this at a press conference on January 11.  

ArmInfo.I think that one  should not politicize the incident that occurred in Karaganda. Such fights, according to statistics, occur in large cities of Kazakhstan quite  often.  The executive director of the public organization "Against  Right-Willing Abuse", ex-Ombudsman of Armenia Larisa Alaverdyan  stated this on January 10 at a press conference. She stated that in  this case this incident received a special resonance in Armenia,  since the Armenians also participated in this fight.

ArmInfo. In connection with the incident in the city of Karaganda, a task force arrived in Armenia to detect a murder suspect in Armenia. 

ArmInfo.The Ministry of Diaspora of Armenia monitors the events taking place in the last days in the Kazakh city of Karaganda, constantly keeps in touch with  representatives of the Armenian community, and expresses its concern  about this incident.

ArmInfo. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan had a telephone conversation with Assistant to the President - Secretary of the  Security Council of Kazakhstan Gabit Bayzhanov. This was reported in  the press service of the Security Council of Armenia.  Grigoryan and  Bayzhanov exchanged views on the situation in Karaganda, in which  Armenians were also involved. Grigoryan expressed condolences to the  relatives and friends of the deceased young man.

ArmInfo. On January 7, the head of the Armenian Police Valery Osipyan held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan,  Colonel- General Kalmukhanbet Kassymov. This is reported by the press  service of the RA Police.  The interlocutors discussed the details of  the fights and murders in which the Armenians are suspected in  January 1 in the city of Karaganda in Kazakhstan.

ArmInfo. Considering events in the Kazakh city of Karaganda as an inter-ethnic conflict is unacceptable. The Ombudsman for Human Rights of Kazakhstan, Askar  Shakirov stated yesterday during a telephone conversation with Human  Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan.  According to the office of  the Ombudsman of Armenia, Askar Shakirov assured Arman Tatoyan that  there can be no talk of discriminatory attitudes towards Armenians by  nationality. The Ombudsman of Kazakhstan said that this issue was  under his immediate attention.

ArmInfo. The incident in the Kazakh city of Karaganda cannot have inter-ethnic overtones, it's just manipulation. Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan  said this yesterday in the conversation with journalists after the  meeting of the faction of the "My Step" bloc.
