Heritage Party condemns Armenian and Russian MPs for their commitment to Eurasian Economic Union project

 Heritage Party has condemned the statement adopted by the Foreign Affairs Committee of Armenia's National Assembly and the CIS and Eurasian Integration Committee of Russia's State Duma on Sunday. 

In their statement the parties expressed commitment to form the Eurasian Economic Union.

Only MPs Nikol Pashinyan and Tevan Poghosyan spoke against the statement.

Heritage Party believes that this is a controversial statement and that it is inadmissible to adopt such documents on behalf of the people of Armenia. "This is not only contrary to our constitution. This proves that our parliament tends to serve others' interests. So, we urge our people to prevent Serzh Sargsyan to meet his destructive commitment to push Armenia into the Customs Union," says the party.
