Gagik Tsarukyan to lead Prosperous Armenia Party`s election list for  June 7 parliamentary Elections

 ArmInfo. The Prosperous Armenia Party's election list for the June 7 parliamentary elections  will be headed by party leader and well-known businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, as stated by political scientist Suren Surenyants, who has joined the "Armenia's Proposal" initiative.

Suren Surenyants noted that the party is running in the elections to  win and change the current government.  The political scientist  pointed out that in the case of success in the elections, other  opposition political forces should consolidate around Prosperous  Armenia. Conversely, if another opposition force wins, the party will  have no ambitions.

Suren Surenyants emphasized that he sees opportunities for broad  consolidation of opposition forces. He ruled out a repeat of the 2021  election results, as the ratings of the current government, including  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, have significantly declined since  then. At the same time, the opposition is currently in a better  position.

The political scientist ruled out any possibility of cooperation with  the country's ruling Civil Contract party and other political forces  associated with it.

It should be noted that the Prosperous Armenia Party is currently  presenting its "Armenia's Proposal" election program in Yerevan.
