The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia, in cooperation with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) and the UNDP Artemis Program, is implementing a risk management program for election management bodies, as reported by the CEC press service.
According to the source, the topic of risk management is already integrated into the commission's training programs, enhancing the capacity development of the CEC and other electoral bodies. This will enable a more efficient and timely response to potential risks and crises.
As part of the program, the CEC will be the first electoral body to adopt and utilize the new digital tool developed by International IDEA for risk assessment and the establishment of a risk library.
During the two-day training, International IDEA representatives from Sweden presented the structure and mechanisms for utilizing the digital tool.
