She noted that there are grounds for Minasyan's release, as his health is incompatible with the conditions of imprisonment. The lawyer also reported that David's brother, Mikael Minasyan, who is also a defendant but is under travel restrictions, is currently in a grave psychological state due to the situation.
Meanwhile, Anna Hovhannisyan, Founding Director of the Imonk charitable foundation, clarified that through this campaign, they want to convey their demand to Armenia's Prosecutor General, Anna Vardapetyan, to release David Minasyan or apply an alternative measure of restraint, such as house arrest.
She also reported that they had previously organized a signature drive for a petition, attracting over 4,000 signatures. "In the petition, we appealed to Armenia's Ombudsperson, Anahit Manasyan, so that she would respond appropriately to the situation," Hovhannisyanb said
