


ArmInfo. Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin, together with the First Secretary of the Embassy, Alexander Malyshev, met with the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of the Republic, Vahagn Hovakimyan.
As reported to ArmInfo by the press service of the Armenian Central Election Commission, during the meeting, the Russian Ambassador inquired about the progress of preparations for the national elections in the republic.
As a reminder, parliamentary elections in Armenia are scheduled for June 7, 2026.
As a reminder, on April 1, during a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Russian President Vladimir Putin called on the Armenian authorities not to hinder the participation of pro-Russian political forces in the country's upcoming electoral processes.
