


ArmInfo. On April 8, RA Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan received a delegation led by the US Charge d'Affaires to the Republic of Armenia, David Allen.
According to the press service of the supervisory authority, Anna Vardapetyan welcomed David Allen to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia, praising the cooperation with the US Embassy in Armenia in a number of areas. She emphasized that the US Embassy in Armenia is a reliable partner of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia. This is evidenced by the frequency and effectiveness of meetings between representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office and the American side in 2025.
The US Charge d'Affaires to the Republic of Armenia assessed cooperation with the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia as effective and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest, including legal assistance in criminal proceedings, extradition, and other matters.
During the meeting, among other things, the procedure and timeline for returning to the Republic of Armenia the majority of the proceeds from the sale of a mansion in Los Angeles, USA, owned by the family of former RA Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan were discussed. By a ruling by a competent US court, the mansion was recognized as property of criminal origin, a result of effective cooperation between Armenian and US law enforcement agencies.
