
ArmInfo.In Armenia, almost a third of respondents believe that Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party, can contribute to the healing and consolidation of Armenian society, as evidenced by the "Bazar-Blot" poll conducted by the consulting company MPG.
When asked which political figure could best facilitate national healing and unity, respondents provided a diverse range of answers: Gagik Tsarukyan: 26.8%; Nikol Pashinyan (Current PM): 25.2%; Samvel Karapetyan (Strong Armenia): 18.1%; Robert Kocharyan (2nd President): 7.1%; Serzh Sargsyan (3rd President): 4.3%; Arman Tatoyan (Wings of Unity): 4.2%; Levon Ter-Petrosyan (first President): 2,1%, Vahagn Khachaturyan (President of Armenia): 1%; another answer: 2,2 %, none: 4,9% and another 4.2% found it difficult to answer. When asked whether they would vote in the parliamentary elections, 51.9% of respondents gave a definitive affirmative answer, 8.6% - rather yes, 5.2% - rather no, 9.5% - definitely no, and 24.8% found it difficult to answer.
Moreover, 24.3% of respondents said they would vote for Nikol Pashinyan's "Civil Contract" party if the elections were held next Sunday. 13.6% - for Samvel Karapetyan's "Strong Armenia", 7.9% - for Gagik Tsarukyan's "Prosperous Armenia", 5.5% - for Robert Kocharyan's "Armenia" bloc, 3.1% - for Vardan Ghukasyan's DOG party, 1.9% - for Serzh Sargsyan's Republican Party of Armenia, and 1.7% - for Edmon Marukyan's "Bright Armenia". The Meritocratic party of Armenia and Arman Tatoyan's "Wings of Unity" each received 1.5% of the vote, while Aram Sargsyan's "Republic" party and Levon Ter-Petrosyan's Armenian National Congress each received 1.1%. 0.6% gave another answer, 2.7% said they would spoil their ballot, 14.3% found it difficult to answer, 11.4% refused to answer, and 8.1% of respondents said they would not vote in the elections.
Note, that the telephone survey was conducted with 100 respondents in Armenia from April 1 to April 3 of this year. The sample size was 100 people, with a sampling error of +/- 3%. In 2011, MPG became the official representative of the Gallup Association in Armenia, one of the most prestigious and independent public opinion research organizations in the world. Since 2003, MPG has implemented over 800 projects of varying sizes in the sociological and marketing research.
