
ArmInfo. The activities of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC) remain popular among citizens, as evidenced by the results of the "Bazar-Blot" survey conducted by the consulting company MPG.
When asked to what extent they approve of the actions of the following political figures/organizations, 64.1% of respondents stated that they are completely satisfied with the activities of the AAC, another 12.3% were somewhat satisfied, 3.8% were somewhat dissatisfied, and 13.2% were completely dissatisfied. 6.6% found it difficult to answer. The Armenian army came in second, with 59.7% of respondents completely satisfied with its performance, 17.2% somewhat satisfied, 4.6% somewhat dissatisfied, 13.3% dissatisfied, and 5.2% dissatisfied. Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party, came in third. 34.2% of respondents were satisfied with his performance, another 26.4% were somewhat satisfied, 5.2% were somewhat dissatisfied, 29.5% were dissatisfied, and 4.8% found it difficult to answer.
Samvel Karapetyan, head of the "Strong Armenia" party, came in fourth. 27.3% of respondents were satisfied with his performance, another 16.1% were somewhat satisfied, 4.3% were somewhat dissatisfied, 36.7% were dissatisfied, and 15.7% found it difficult to answer.
The Prime Minister of Armenia came in fifth. Only 27.1% of respondents were satisfied with his performance, while another 15.4% were somewhat satisfied, 13.7% were somewhat dissatisfied, 38.5% were dissatisfied, and 5.4% found it difficult to answer.
The top ten also included second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, with about 24% generally satisfied with his performance, about 65% dissatisfied, and 8.8% found it difficult to answer.
DOG party leader Vardan Ghukasyan: 20.2% were generally satisfied with his performance, 64.6% were somewhat dissatisfied, and 15.2% found it difficult to answer.
President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, leader of the "Wings of Unity" party Arman Tatoyan, and third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan are rounding out the list.
Note, that the telephone survey was conducted with 100 respondents in Armenia from April 1 to April 3 of this year. The sample size was 100 people, with a sampling error of +/- 3%. In 2011, MPG became the official representative of the Gallup Association in Armenia, one of the most prestigious and independent public opinion research organizations in the world. Since 2003, MPG has implemented over 800 projects of varying sizes in the sociological and marketing research.
